Is milk with cereal okay?

The reason I ask is I figured I could get a lil more protein than what the cereal offers dry. I know I cannot drink the milk after eating it but can it be on the spoon with the cereal and not be considered drinking? I know this sounds silly but I'm curious

Hi Misty, I usually use about 2-3 oz of milk with a serving of cereal.  My Nut recommends dry, but that is just too dry for me.  I try to make sure I use just enough to moisten the cereal and not leave a bunch at the bottom of the bowl.

I have milk with my cereal. I usually have Special K Protein Plus. It has 10g protein per serving, the most I've found in a cereal yet.

when i saw the nutritionist either last month or the month before, she said a little milk to soften the cereal was ok. i think its the drinking left over milk where we'd steer clear!!!!
