Good Friday Morning!

Good morning everyone! I looked at the clock wrong when I got up...and got up at 5:15! I was hurting & I thought it was 6:15  Ah well. I thought I'd go ahead and post & stuff while I wait for the meds to kick in. Maybe I'll be able to get some more sleep then. I slept REALLY horrible last night. Tiffany sent me this site that calculates your Real age & Life Expectancy ( http://www.embedtube.com/uploads/33101407Realage.swf ) based on the answers to specific questions. I'm sure if they asked them just a little bit differently, mine would have turned out different. For me, I'm 46..but it says I'm really 31.9 with a life expectancy of 89.1 (average is 75). I remember taking one of these are-RNY. Shoot...I think I added about 30 years to my life expectancy!!  Okay...you'all know that I rarely if ever even mention any TV shows on here...but...Does anyone else watch the Celebrity Apprentice? Normally, Bill watches the Apprentice in another room while I watch Desperate Housewives. Of course this season, they don't have it on Sundays..but Thursdays. And LOST isn't on Wednesdays..but on Thursdays. I've been taping LOST..one of my 'normal' don't miss shows. We're gonna be in trouble next week if there's a new CSI on! Anyway, as soon as I saw that Trace Adkins was on there, I HAD to watch it. He is my honey! I must have a thing for those long haired country boys. When I was a teen, I loved Bosephus. As a young adult, I loved Tracy Lawrence & Travis Tritt. Anyway, I am just so darned impressed with that cutie pie! I hope so much that he wins it all (the $ goes to charities and his charity is for kids with severe food allergies...as his daughter suffers from this). I'd love to see someone who puts his family first get it instead of some rude snob! I thought it was only right that Steven Baldwin got the axe last night. By rights, he probably should have gotten it a long time ago since he was WAY more involved in the Vinnie fiasco than he was willing to own up to. I still think if Reba had been on there, she would have blown them all away since she is a fantastic business woman in her own rights! Donald may have even learned a few tricks from her! For those who didn'****ch it last night...the challenge was to create, market, and sell a Quisno Sammy....all within 2 hours. I couldn't believe Trace's team lost!  Anyway, the 'Sammy' is Quisno's answer to offering a smaller sandwich at a smaller price ($2) for folks (like us!!) who can't eat their normal huge ones. The Sammy is on a flat bread. I've never had one, but being +3 yrs out, I plan on asking Tiffany to pick us up some today. Trace's team came up with the Cowboy club...rib eye steak! The opposing team had a turkey & cheddar cheese club (named Champ Club after their team member boxing Champ Lennox). I know. Turkey's less fat..but the Champ sounded so boring compared to the rib eye one..so I'm going to be choosing this as one of my weeks' beef choices (I limit myself of the # of times I'll have beef a week since beef has higher fat than other meats). Both Sammys are suppose to be available for a limited time only. I don't know if I'll be able to handle the flat bread or not, but I won't mind at all eating the meat in the center & pitching it! LOL! Now, to look forward to next Thursday! GOOOOO TRACE!!! Bill had to do a quick run to Dr. Price's yesterday. He woke up and the contact they had put in his eye during surgery had come outl It was put there instead of using a bunch of stitches to hold in the new cornea tissue during his cornea transplant a few weeks ago (to hopefully cut down on scar tissue formation). It didn't effect his vison any since there is no visual correction in the contact, but it did cause him pain. So as soon as Tiffany got here, they headed that way. Dr. Price's office was able to get him in right away..that was a good thing. When they got home, they got another project done. The tires on my Durango were all low! One was about 1/2 way on it's way to being flat!! Hopefully, nothing like that comes up for them today. I know Tiffany is wanting to call Cindy P. and get some resume-type adivse and Bill missed his neighborhood walk (hopefully it won't rain for awhile so he can go. Well..that's about wraps up our yesterday and today. LOL! Other than taking a shower & a nap, just not a whole lot going on for me today. That's good though. That's about all I can handle right now. I hope everyone else has a super-duper day!! LaChelle & Gail...terrific talking with both of you ladies yesterday!! Sherri

Hope everyone has a great day today. It is supposed to be rainy, so that means I won't get my walk in during my breaks.  Oh well, since I haven't been able to all winter long, my legs are really sore this morning.  It will get better tho, I will make sure of that. Sherri, it was really great talking to you as well.  When I am on break, and taking my walk, I am really ready to talk! LOL Go figure.   Of course yesterday was a rare day, because I actually had another co-worker join me in my laps, and that made the time go by so much faster.  He had a heart attack several months ago, and recouperated just fine, but now he really wants to get some excercise started again.  He has to go to the dr on Wednesday for his check up and said now that he started walking, he can be honest to the dr about excercising.  Good answer. I talked to my mgr yesterday about having the day off for the clothing exchange, and her reply was........."Get me some more dealers, and you will have the day off!"  Not the answer I was looking for!!! If things don't get better for us soon, none of us will have any days off! I am really going to try to sweet talk her, or even bribe her so I can have the day off.  I really want to meet all of you, and I have TONS of clothes to bring!  Keep your fingers crossed, and pray that business slows down long enough for me to get the exchange off! LOL Gotta run! Have a great day all!
At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!

Good morning all! It is rainy and yucky out here. They say it is suppose to turn into snow tomorrow.  I like the snow, but I am ready for some Spring weather.   I am so tired and worn out and so glad this is Friday.  I have worked 71 hours this week. 20 above my normal work week and what sucks is that I am salary, so I get no darn overtime.  My muscles are sore in my back. I am not sure if I lifted someone wrong or if I am lacking in something. I have nothing planned this weekend and I hope to keep it that way.  I do need to go get my nails done tomorrow and probably go to the grocery, but that is all I am doing.   I have a lot of the clothes for the clothing exchange I hope someone can use.  All I really need are some shirts.  My mom in law gave me about 6 pairs of jeans that fit me perfect.  I do need some EMT tech pants, but I will probably have to order those. Sherri-I started ou****ching Celebrity Apprentice, but stopped watching it, I cant stand that Omarosa. LaChelle-I hope you get the day of the clothing exchange off.  What would happen if you called in...lol?  Can you find someone to trade a day with you maybe? E-you are such a dedicated walker...I admire you!  I wished you lived closer to me so you could kick me in the butt and get me motivated to walking.  I will be better when the weather gets better, I am just not into being out in the cold and rain.  Although, I do a walking video inside...so I guess that counts. Everyone have a good day and weekend!

Jenny, I think it was the 2nd season when Omarosa was first on CA...which is alot of why I didn'****ch it. As I said, if it weren't for Trace, I wouldn't have this season. It was terrific seeing her fired last week...although...it sure wouldn't break my heart to see Peirce go bye-bye too! I know drama makes more people watch, but I just hope that in this case, the good guy finishes last! Trace is the only one of all of them that has been nothing but upfront & honest the entire time. You can't even say that about Carol...she didn't like the way Peirce took over and how Lennox let him...but in the boardroom? Oh no Donald, everything was terrific. Lennox was a perfect PM and Peirce is such a joy to work with! Balogna!  Alot of people couldn't stand omarosa I think. They even advertised this week's as being 'Omarosa-Free'! LOL! Sherri

Good Morning, Good morning All!  Currently the sun is shining outside and it is beautiful but I know rain is headed our direction.  I will enjoy the sun while I can.  Yesterday I was able to go out and walk outside during my lunch break.  Was so nice to be out in the sun and nice to actually get a lunch break.  I have been working through lunches for weeks now.  Hopefully things are starting to settle down for a while.  This afternoon/evening I am serving as a chaperone for my son's band contest.  I probably should take some earplugs! A bus load of rowdy middle schoolers can get pretty load.  I could never be a bus driver.  Saturday I need to make a quick run to Fort Wayne to stock up on my greek yogurt.  I am lost without it.  Yummy and high in protein.  I also like to get the Gordon Food Service bags of chunk chicken.  There is so much you can do with it for quick, high protein meals.  Of course I will also need to do some work on my 2nd and 3rd part time jobs.  It will be a busy weekend.  Everyone enjoy your day and weekend.  Newbies keep walking, sipping and being faithful to your protein.  You can do it!! Good morning, fellow losers. I am in the office this morning and so that is why I am here now. My computer did some tricks right after I posted that I was back and so it is gone again. I am getting tired of this for sure. I haven't heard anything on it yet but hope to soon. So I am not here again like I thought that I was originally. lol

Today is suppose to be another day like yesterday weather wise. It got up to about 60 yesterday and it is to today also. I hope so. It felt so nice not having to wear a coat. I took it with me but it stayed in the back seat of the car. Now this week end it is suppose to snow but I hope not much. I am keeping my fingers crossed that spring is around the corner. We could use some of that for sure!!

I hope that everyone is doing well. Things at my house is just about the same as always. Some days are hectic and others aren't. Lately they have been hectic. I told Bill this morning that I am so glad that tomorrow is Friday. I know that he is too because he is off the week ends. I hope to vegetate this week end and just go to church and not much more. It would be nice for us to just sit and watch movies and nap when we want to. I think that Bill is suppose to get together with his son sometime. They have been doing father and son outings and they are just in heaven spending time together. I am glad that they are doing that.

I guess I had better get going. I have some work to do. Just think that this church of mine wants me to work! Is that nerve or what? lol I love being up here. I like getting out and being around people. I am going to be going back to work I think. I just want to start out part time. I think that is all Bill wants for me to do too. He likes it when I am home with him.  Hope you all have a blessed and happy day today. I will chat when I get the chance to but that is probably going to be a while. Remember I am keeping all of you in my prayers and your always in my thoughts.
