Dr. David Diaz, Carmel IN

OK, I have a consult with Dr. Diaz on April 11th in Carmel....I have one great person who has all good things to say about him. (Thanks Jacqui!!) My concern is making sure I pick the best doctor....I really want this surgery but I am soooooooo scared.  It's the whole surgery thing and what if something goes wrong???  I think I just need communication from other members about their experiences with him...Also, does anyone know approx. how long from consult to operation? I appreciate all your help...

I HAD DR DIAZ HE IS A WONDERFUL DOC. IT WAS ABOUT DEPENDING ON HOW LONG IT TAKES YOU TO GET APPROVED . I STARTED WITH CONSULT AND LESS THEN 45 DAYS LATER I WAS HAVING MY SURGERY. I WAS IN ST V'S 3 DAYS OFF WORK 3 WEEKS BY CHOICE I COULD HAVE WENT BACK IN 2 BUT WANTED THE EXTRA WEEK TO PAPMER MYSELF. MY SURGERY TOOK ONLY 45 MINUTES AND I HAVE NO PROBLEMS . I DID GET AN ULCER BUT WASNT ANYTHING TO DO WITH SURGERY.  I FEEL YOU ARE IN GOOD HANDS . FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME IF YOU WANT TO  AND GOOD LUCK  VICKI

Dr Diaz didn't do my surgery BUT I've seen him on numerous occasions and he has admitted me a few times. I think he is really awesome though! I had Dr. Cacucci who is in the same group as him and from consult to surgery date was 2 months

Dr. D did do my surgery, and I just adore that man!!  He's very sweet and very gentle!  You are in great hands, in my opinion!!

what was your recovery time?  I have 3 kids: 11, 9, & 2......and i work full time 

i had dr.d nothing bad to say about him .i would do the surgery again with him if had to.mines was 45 min. and i was home on sunday after having the surgery on friday he's good. go for him .i tell him that he's my husband every time i see him smile..........good luck.

I had dr diaz too, I just love him to death as i had extra issues with my surgery and he was wonderful dealing with it. He is extremely sweet and caring. You will be in great hands with him.
