Good morning! I got a wonderful surprise in the mail yesterday! Jacqui!!! You are such a doll! I love all the little fun things you sent me! I'm going to HAVE to color you a page just for your fridge! LOL! Speaking of fun & games...Bill surprised me by getting us a WII. We had been talking about it for about 6 months or so and he managed to get a good deal on a new on on eBay. He's been busy setting it up this morning. When Tiffany gets here though, he'll be taking a break. He has to run to Best Buys and get a new pc. The Geek Squad said they thought it was either the mother board or power supply..both would be cheaper to just replace the pc. So...although his pc isn't even 2 yrs old, he'll be shopping for a new one today. Brenda & Floyd..thank you you guys! I had a very good time. I sure slept good!! I think I was ready to curl up and take a nap while you were still here..lol. Shoot..I'm ready to curl up and take a nap right now! I forwarded Hope's notes to those on the Hoosier Directory about Peter's condition and the fund raisers that are in progress to help offset the expenses. If you didn't get the emails, drop me an email at [email protected] and I'll forward them on to you. Have a good day everyone! Sherri

Happy Sunday!! We took Marissa home yesterday (and boy was I ready). Today I'm going to be taking it easy and resting. Tomorrow I start spring cleaning. I figure if I do 1-2 rooms a day I will be done in 3-4 days sooo it's gonna be great fun.

Good afternoon, fellow Hoosiers Losers. I am doing pretty good and hope that the rest of you are too.  I went to church this morning, of course I had to since I was an usher. It was a wonderful service with it being Palm Sunday. I brought home palms and have them on my picture in the dining room. I keep them until I get another one next year.  The sun is out and shining bright. It is still cold, about 34 but that is doable since the sun is out. It feels much warmer. We didn't get the rain or the snow flurries they thought that we would. I think it went more south of us. For that I am grateful.   Sunshine I can get through just about anything as long as the sun is shining.  Bill and I met up with his cousin and a good friend of the family and shot some pool last night. I had a lot of fun and that is one of the first nights out like that I have had in a long time. We have gone out but not to shoot pool and I missed it. We need to do that more often.  Pool  I have to go to the store in a bit and get a frozen pie. I have to make one for the corned beef and cabbage dinner at the church tomorrow. I tried to make a pie one time and it turned out terrible and so that is the way that I "make" pies now. It is the best way for me since there is no stress to it. I use to make them with the ready made crusts and now I am to lazy to open a can for the filling and so I figure that is why they make frozen ones.  Pie Bill and our son is out bowling now. They try to get together every Sunday for a bit of father and son time.   Son & Father I am glad that they are doing that since they need that time together. They have a good relationship but it wasn't always like that. They have at times had their bad times but I hope that is all behind them and can go on like they should. I think that Shawn is beginning to realize that dad isn't going to be around forever. I think that he knows that now since his grandfather passed a few weeks ago. In case you are wondering about that, his grandfather was on his moms side. Shawn is my stepson but I would rather refer to him as my son since I think that is a nicer word than stepson. That just sounds hard to me for some reason. I guess I must think of Cinderella and her wicked stepmother and I so don't want to be one of them. I think of us as a family and I include his wife Carol in that too.  Family 2  Well, I better get going since I have gone on and on again. I have a habit of doing that in case no one noticed and I am sure that hasn't happened. My parents always said that I started talking late and I never shut up. Now that includes typing too.    He'd Talk The Ears Off A Moose.  Email  Have wonderful day, what is left of it. I wish you all a blessed one and I will check in later on.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Happy Sunday! We went to Sunday School and church this morning, and it was great to be back after missing two Sundays.  I made homemade pizzas for lunch and we all ate in the living room since our favorite NASCAR race is on today; Bristol! Even the girls love watching to cheer on Tony.   Their bedroom is completely empty now...just finished vacuuming it out, so it's ready for their bunk beds to arrive on Tuesday! I cried when my husband took down Molly's toddler bed, but she's excited and ready for her big girl bed.  I'm going to let them sleep on their mattresses tonight and tomorrow night, so they think that's big fun. Taking a bit of a housecleaning break today after my marathon yesterday.  Tonight the girls have choir and handbells (our church has a wee choir for 3 & 4 year olds, which Molly's in and they play little colored handbells, so cute!), and I have Bible study, so better get that finished up!  Have a good Sunday everyone!
