Red hair, fair skin and the brown eyes.  Well I will not be wearing any "KISS ME I'M IRISH" pins today. St. Patty's Day Sign Happy ST Patrick's day to all  Green Beer no green beer Here !!! OK, I'm a Heinz 57 Variety like Sherri.  There is probably a little Irish in there somewhere, but it must be buried too deep, because I didn't remember to wear any green today!   But lucky for me it is a federal offense to pinch a federal employee, so I'm safe (at least here at work!).    At home it might be another story! Hope everyone has a great day today.  Mine looks to be kind of quiet, which is OK with me.  I was busy enough over the weekend.  My son had a choir competition, then I had a Pampered Chef party to go to (I've got at least one each month until August!  Oh, except July.  Good thing my wish list is never ending.  ).  Then on Sunday I did a little laundry, did my mother's and my grandmother's taxes and cooked 3 dinners for this week.  I forgot, I do have to go out to my brother's this evening after I pick my car up from the shop (brakes).  So I guess I will be on the run a little today too.  Oh well better to be busy than bored! Well, I hope everyone has a good day!

lol!  You wouldnt think by looking at me, but my grandfather is Irish.  He is from Ireland, which he was born and raised until he was about 14 and then he moved to America where he met my grandmother who is African American.  They had my mom when they were still teenagers.  She was 15 and he was 17.  So my mom is actually Irish and African American Mixed.  And my other grandfather on my dad's side is African American and Indian.  His mother was from India and his dad was African American.  So I am just a mixture of alot of things!  Irish, African, Indian..you name it I got it! ..lol  HAPPY ST. PATTY'S DAY ALL!

Loved your story Ellen and everyone's contribution.  Okay, today is St Patrick's day, My patermal grandmother came over from County Cork, my pateral grandfather was 1st generation American, also Irish on my maternal side, Kelly, Ryan, Moriarity, and so forth.  Wouldn't you think I would remember the 17th?  NO, I get to work this today and what am I wearing?  Gray.  Gray pants, gray shirt, gray sweater.   And I even had three new shirts and some new socks for today.  Next year!
