Happy Monday!

Hello friends,... happy Monday. It's about 5am, and alas, I think I'm up for the day now. I am considering going to the Y for 6 am and going lap swimming. I got a new suit yesterday. I know I got one shortly before this, but I returned it, because I just didn't really, really like it. This new one Mike and Maggie helped me pick out. Still a size 12. WooHoo! My last one was a 1x, and the one before that a 3x. I will be all ready for the pool at the new apartment this summer.  Yesterday we went to go visit Mikey at the hospital. It was good to see him. He seems to be learning the ropes of the unit. He was off the red level,.. the lowest level, and up to orange. We made the decision on the way home that we 're going to take the televisions out of the children's bedrooms. It can't be good for Mikey's attention and concentration to watch so much television, and Maggie ends up watching hers instead of goign to sleep. SO that's one thing we'll start changing.  I prolly won't be at the next clothing exchange,.. due to visiting times with Mikey and all. If anyone on here wants a lavender 1x swimsuit, or a blue/turquoise 22W swimsuit, let me know. If you're in Terre Haute, you can pick up. If you're not, but would send me about $5 for postage, I could mail it to you. Both are in fairly good condition. Let me know at my real email: [email protected].

 Happy St. Patty's Day Posse! May y'all find that Pot of Gold! I am laggin' behind AGAIN with the holidays....I am gonna rush out to the post office this mornin' to get a box mailed to my son in the Navy and to my stepson in North Carolina....I have to send chocolate bunnies!  lol The weekend was good...I DID get my spring cleaning done except for the back porch! I did some shopping and got some pictures printed. I am sending my stepson a small photo album of his baby pictures for his birthday. He is gonna be a daddy on the 28th of this month and I thought would be cute to send him his baby pics....hope he likes them! I HOPE I have my puter fixed...I had to re-format AGAIN so didn't post much in the past few days. SORRY....I have been thinkin' of y'all and praying y'all have had successful surgeries...good doc appts....and happy sunny days! hugggggggggggs Janene

Top of the mornin' to you! I had a really good day yesterday. I started off my day by weighing...and I lost some more of that swelling post-op weight. Today, I lost some more!! Woo-hoo. I was 147 the morning of surgery (145 was my lowest weight that week though). I ballooned up from the surgery & was still 162 when I came home. Saturday morning, I was 160..yesterday I was 154 and today I am 151!! Give it another week and I should be back at my pre-op weight (if not at 145!). The only place that looks swollen now..is the only place I had expected to be swollen..and that's my stomach. Along with losing that weight & swelling, the pain level had improved yesterday too! I was able to get by with just vicodins for 8 hours of the day yesterday. My worse time of the day really is when first get up..and that is even if I don't sleep past time to take them. The 2nd most is in the evenings..but I think most people's pain level is usually elevated then. Bed time/pain time?  Anyway, it was really good to be able to switch to something not quite as strong for part of the day.  Tiffany had an interview & got a job at Long John Silver's yesterday. It's a job until a better one comes along. I sure hope a better one does soon...for all of them. I told her to be careful not to eat too much of their product..lol! She had to have black khacki pants & black tennis shoes (although they did give her a coupon for 15% off the shoes at Payless). Awfully picky fot $6/hout..huh? Anyway, she & Bill went shopping. He got her 2 pair of shoes and then with my credit cards in hand, also got her a couple pair of the pants. So..she's all set to say 'May I take your order please'.  like I said, it's not much of a job...but it is a job and therefore, an answer to her prayers. Bill's darn contact came out again last night so he's got to get up to see Dr. Price again. We have no idea why his eye isn't wanting to keep the contact in this time. Since Tiff will be working though, we're going to see if our friend Jeanie can bring him to Dr. Price's. Otherwise, he'll be stuck with his sister or him mom's driving...lol. It makes me glad to be able to stay at home this round! LOL! I hope you all have a good Irish day!  Sherri

Good morning all! I am freezing this morning.  I walked into my office and someone had turned the heat down yesterday in the building to 65 and my office gets the coolest.  I had to plug my space heater in. Have a long day here at work....meeting day!  I get off of duty at 5, then have a meeting at 6, then another one at 7, then 1 more after our business meeting.  I am going to try to keep the business meeting short in hopes of getting out of here early.  My show Jon & Kate plus 8 is on tonight.   Didnt do much this weekend, played with my great niece & great nephew, they were out at my in-laws Sat. night.  My great nephew is 11 mos. old and he just started walking.  He looks so darn cute! I hope everyone has a good sunny day.

SHe is a sweetie, I hate to leave her today.(please, i hope she doesn't chew anything up while I am gone!) She has lots of toys and bones. Our next door neighbor has a puggle also, they met yeasterday. She is more pug and he is more Beagle. I wanted more pug than beagle so I was super excitied to get her. She is so lovable, I know she was meant to find us. Have a great day.....

Well....my grandson dcided not to make his debute over the weekend so we are now into week 41 and patiently still waiting! Shamrocks are the theme of the day! Enjoy everyone!    

Good morning all. I hope that everyone enjoys their St. Patty's Day today. I hope the luck of the Irish is with everyone, even those of us who may not be Irish.   I have my "homemade" pie in the oven now. I got a Berry Berry pie. It is made with blackberries and raspberries. I am glad that I got that one since it doesn't appeal to me at all. I am not to much of a pie person anyway. But my downfall on pie is peach. I just love them. When it gets out of the oven a cools a bit it is off to the church Mr. Pie and I go so it will be there for the dinner tonight. I am not going. I was going to but since Bill is working I thought that I would just make a corned beef and cabbage dinner here at home. I got the recipe from the food network and it is so easy. I go to the heart doctor this afternoon and so I want easy for dinner. I never know how long the wait is going to be there. I don't mind the waiting for emergencies since God forbid one day I may be the emergency.  Bill and Shawn went bowling yesterday and they bowled 6 games. Bill came home with a sore knee and so that is all I heard about last night. I told him that if he does it again and it starts up he has no one to blame but himself. I told him that he should know that 3 is his limit with his knee. He said that Shawn was bowling more and I told him that he should have told him that he was sitting out and watching. Shawn would have understood and if he didn't tell him to wait until he twice as old as he is now and he will!!!   Bill is sleeping in the chair now and Misty my cat is looking out over her back 40 acres as my dad would say. It is quiet and I like it like that. I don't have the television on and I like that. I have it on a lot at night when Bill is working because it is another voice in the house.  I had a fit last night and called the apartment office and yelled. I tried to park and the people around here must think that everyone drives a toothpick because I couldn't get into my spot at all. I had to park down from it. I have a handicapped spot and I don't drive a toothpick and so I called and told them that I pay just as much rent as everyone else and I am getting tired of it. Last week the guy upstairs parked so close to me my door would only open about 4 inches. I had to get Bill to crawl into the car across the console and move the car so I could get in. I told the office about that and told her that if I hadn't lost 75 pounds I would have to do that more.  Bill thinks I am being a bit unreasonable but I am getting to the point that I am sick and tired of it.  I guess I better get going. I want to eat breakfast since I am getting hungry. I think I am going to have a Slim Fast low carb drink. That gives me 20 grams of protien and it is good. There is less than 1 gram of sugar in it. The wl nurse told me about it and I got the chocolate and I like it. I use it a couple of times a week for a meal.  I hope that everyone has a safe and happy day today. Good Morning, I am up I didn't sleep at all last night. Got to go shopping for "NANA"s little angels for easter. No candy, fun things for the  yard  and a  new outfit. Not sure what to get baby Hannah , shes so little only 2 months but she has more hair than her 2 year sister. I had a wonderful week end. Love to all. Not much to say. :) I'm just taking it easy again today.  My body is so tired and telling me to rest and so I think I'll start my spring cleaning tomorrow. I'm super achey and all that stuff and soo I'm not going to pu**** much today. :)
