arrival of baby

Good morning to all.  Well I went for my doctor appointment yesterday and the arrival of baby Megan will be May 2.  My due date is May 10 but he is going to do my c-section on the 2nd.  I can't wait.  We are all so excited, but I am starting to get nervous about it all.  It has been a long time since I have had a baby baby around the house.  My baby is 6 so I am a little nervous about starting all over again.  I hope all is well and everyone has a great day.

Can I offer a piece of advice, after having two scheduled c-sections? You might want to have them do a sonogram like the day before, and check the size of the baby very carefully. I always felt with my Lucy, she may have not been ready to come out yet. That maybe she hadn't gotten all the time she needed to develop. The doctor in her case wanted to do her delivery 2 weeks early, due to scheduling! Sometimes the estimates they do earlier can change as time gets closer, and so if they recheck, and the baby seems like it's still a little small or something, you can decide if you want to wait another week. Any way that's how I would do it, if I was going to do it again. Which I've no intention of, but I just wanted to offer my experience.  That said, congratulations, and I'm sure May 2nd's going to work out to be a fabulously joyful day for you :-) You will do great with a 'baby baby' around the house. They are lots of work, but they're worth it. 

Early congratulations on the upcoming event. I agree they are a lot of work but so worth is. They are the greates blessings that God can give us. They also add more love to the household.
