Only 8 more sleeps...

This is my one week mark for work...next Tuesday will be the day before surgery and my last day at work.  I am getting close.

It will be here before you know it !!!  My surgery is this thurs. 3/20 with Dr. Huse @ St. Vin. I'm so excited. Wish you the best for your surgery and new life to come. See you on the losers bench.                 Dave 

You guys are so close!! I have two weeks from tomorrow and am so excited!!

Amy - you are with Dr. E too.  My husband is finally expressing his fears about my upcoming surgery and I'm not helping when I tell him that Dr. E looks like he just rode in on the last wave (surfer) smoking a big fatty. By the way - I graduated from Kokomo many moons ago. 

Kim, that's too funny!! When I had my consult with him last fall, he walked in looking nothing like his brochure photo, and I told my husband "No way is this guy seeing me naked!!"  He looks like he could be Keith Urban's cousin, and I told my hubby he looks like he left his surfboard or motorcycle parked outside.   I too graduated from KHS many years ago...times flies!!

Amy - I'm going to put it out there in public.  I graduated in 1991 - Go Wildkats!  I don't keep in touch with much of anyone from that area.  The last time I was up there was for Mr. Hogan's funeral.  I had him in class as well as became a personal friend after I graduated.  He will be a loss to that community. Good luck with your surgery.

I can remember when I was 1 week from surgery. It couldnt get here fast enough.  It will be here before you know it.  Good luck to you and we will scoot over and make room for you on the losers bench.

  Boy, we better do some heavy duty movin' since we have a bunch of future Hoosiers Losers come on in on the bench. If you hear us whoooshing it is just us moving and dusting to make more room on the comfie bench. My prayers are with all of you on the day your life begins again.

well, we're all going to have to say hello when we go on our walks around the ward. my surgery is next tuesday. i need to call and see what time it is. i haven't gotten anything in the mail that tells me when to go to the hospital.
