Talking

Hi Everyone, I think I am having some problems that started when I was in my 20's. I had a bad case of Aseptic Meningitis. My neurologist stated I could have some long term consequences, I would have to learn to live with. One is my hearing, I have noticed that I am not hearing as good as before, I lost 7% of my hearing when I was in the hospital all those years ago.And I also have noticed that I but in while I am talking to someone, mostly on the phone. My brain goes faster than my month and sometimes I just start talking when others are talking. I am working on this so hard, I don't want anyone to think I am being rude. I in good faith would never do that, I so love talking to all those that call. I haven't had to go though any neurological testing in 5 years, but I think my PCP will think its time. Maybe that could be the cause of me falling. I see my PCP late this afternoon. Love to all. Hugs & Blessings, Gail

There are lots of words that come to mind when I think of Gail....sweet, caring, fun....not one time has RUDE ever crossed my mind. I hope you find something out though.  I'm worried about you falling so much. Take care Sweetie! Jacqui

Oh sweetie! Anyone who could possibly think of you as rude, just does not know you at all!!! You can always call me up and we always manage to get our all of our thoughts out, regardless of when who says what! huggs... Sherri

Gail, I hope your PCP is able to get you some answers, or at least refer you to a specialist for more testing.  My dad has significant hearing loss and tinnitus from years in the Air Force, and he would often interrupt if he thought the conversation had paused...he didn't see it as interrupting, he honestly didn't think anyone was talking.  I don't think you are a rude person at all!! Like Sherri said, anyone who knows you would never think that!!

Gail I just wanna echo what everyone else is saying. :) I love you dearly and have never thought anything other than GOOD things of you. I say Pppphhhhhhhhhpttt (or raspberries hehe) to who ever was mean to you. (( HUGS ))

  Bad bad person who thinks our little Gail is rude.  That isn't very nice and it couldn't be the farthest from the truth. I think of many things to define you as a person and none of them are negative in the least bit. I think of sweet, kind, considerate, loving, and fantastic as a few examples. If you need more just let me know and there are plenty more where they came from. My motto is to be a duck and let the negative stuff roll off your back like water on duck backs. My love and prayers to you that they find the problem and can take care of it.
