Patience is needed, remember this procedure is for the rest of your life.  A month or 2 or more delay is small compared to the benefit for a lifetime.  Use the energy to better prepare for the change.  It is tough for someone that has had the operation to convey how nu ch your life changes.  Some experience different things,  It is going to be your journey.  Learning now to eat what you should will be a great thing. I use whfoods.org for a web site to get info on what is a better choice.  Go for whole grains fresh veg. and fruit.  Get away from canned food.  Use frozen if the produce is not in season.  Get protein from other sources beside flesh of dead animals at times. Prepare our spouse for the change and stress to them I am doing this for me and I hope you can be a trusted encouraging partner in this journey. I would be lost without Becky's help and support.  I shiver at the comments friends and family make at times that really bolster what I have done and ignore that she also has lost 60 lbs on weigh****chers.  I am the cook in the family so she eats better because I do.  If you are not the cook work on getting whoever is to make changes that are good for all. Hang in there.  We are praying that God's will be done. E

2 Chronicles 16:9
For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou has done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

Shanna,

You'll get there girl... this is the most frustrating part of the whole thing. I had to have mine sent certified mail because they "never got it" several times... Of course I was also working with the most incompetent bariatric coordinator on the face of the planet so that makes a huge difference. Keep your head up and be persistent... also what size you in now? I do in fact have some clothes to take to the exchange and wanted to know if you need anything imparticular when I go through them.
