Hi Friends,
I just have a quick question. What do you use for "butter"? I know I'm not using this yet but for future referance. Hope everyone is doing fine. Happy Easter to you all. Love & Hugs.

Hi Lorri, long time no hear from. I hope that things are going well for you since your surgery. I think of you often.  Thinking Of You  When I use butter which I rarely do I use the I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Spray Margarine. You get it in the margarine/ butter section and that is what I have used for a long time and what my nut suggests we use. Hope this helps.

I use the Smart Balance too. I forgot about that since I use it so little. It has a good taste and it is better for you health wise. Another good thing about it is that you can use it to cook with which you can't do with the other margarines.

Lorri, I use Olive Oil as much as possible when 'butter' is called for. There's some things though that just take 'butter'..which for me, is Country Crock's light margarine. It's calorieas, fat, ect is fairly comparable with everything else out there. Sherri

Lorri, I use the Smart Balance butter.  I have also used the Light I Cant Believe It's Not Butter.  You should be fine using anything that has no trans fats and low calories.

I use...butter!  I eat/use SO little butter that the nutritionist said it was fine to use real butter.  The main things I used to use butter on were breads, pastas, rice, potatoes--starchy stuff and since I can't eat the first three items and only rarely eat potatoes I just don't use much butter.  I actually buy a pound of it and freeze 3 of the four sticks so that it stays fresh longer.  If, in the future (when I am allowed), I begin eating more items that "need" butter, I would probably use Smart Balance--my mom uses that and the taste is really good.

Hi Lorri, I use Brummel & Brown.  It is reduced calorie and yogurt based and recommended by the nutritionist at Clarian Bariatrics in her cooking classes.  It has a really good flavor and works really well in cooking.
