Well,.. I got up on time this morning to go swimming at the Y. That felt good. I had stopped going for awhile, in part because I didn't have a properly fitting suit. So, I'm having to build back up stamina. But it will come back. Tomorrow is Easter. We will be in Jeffersonville to visit Mikey. He's doing okay at the residential treatment. He's kind of testing out the boundaries now, but they said that's pretty normal in the beginning, which is why it's designed to be long-term treatment. I have to work a long shift today at Sears. 10:45 to 6:45. Ugh. Oh well, what can you do. I need the $$$ too much to call off. Besides, I like them to think of me as a good worker and dependable. I wouldn't call off anyway. I have gained a couple of pounds with all this stress over Mikey going into residential treatment. I was up to 165 yesterday. I realized I need to stay on the wagon. Today the scale read 164, so that's a little better. I think I'm past the 'honeymoon' time though, and I'm going to have to work harder now to lose my last 20 pounds and to maintain. Did anyone know Wal-mart makes generic sugar-free flavored oatmeal? I tried some today, and it's pretty yummy stuff. Just thought I'd share that. Well, have a great day all!

Good morning, Linda and all. I hope that today is kind to everyone.  Linda, I get the WalMart brand of sugar free oatmeal all the time. I get the maple and brown sugar flavor and it is really good. I seem to like a lot of the WalMart brand of most things. My WalMart also sells the no sugar added Blue Bunny yogurt (I love the cherry vanilla and the blueberry bliss flavors the best) and also the sugar free Blue Bunny ice cream. I do not like the sugar free pudding in their brand though. I know that I am better off spending the few more cents to get the jello brand pudding.  Today is a snowy and cold one here in the northwest. I feel so cold sitting here in my living room chatting. The sun is out but it must be awfully cold out there this morning. The snow is coming down and blowing a lot too.  I went to KMart yesterday and got 2 tops and a sweater for $3.99 each since they were on winter clearence. I got a shirt and a - sit down for this one - a LEATHER coat for Bill and they were both $2.99 each. There was 2 guys there looking at the coats and they asked the girl if they were that price too and she took it up and checked and came back and said yes. I thought it couldn't be leather and I checked the tag inside and sure enough it is. It is a beautiful coat and so I grabbed it for Bill. Most of them were smalls and mediums but I got the only large. I was in the right place at the right time that is for sure. I love getting bargains like that. The sweater is a cardigan with nice wooden buttons and the shirts are really nice. One is a creamy yellow with 3/4 sleeves (they hide the flapping flab on my arms) and lace around the square neck. The other one is charcoal gray with a purple triangle of fabric at the v neck. It has embroidry and beads in purple around the v neck. It has 3/4 sleeves too. I like the sleeves like that so that if I wave my arm the people in front and back of me aren't knocked out cold from the flapping flab. I can't seem to get the flab off the arms or the legs for some reason. I have to say that bargain shopping is an obsession with me most of the time. I think the leather coat is the best one that I have ever found though. We are going to our nephews house tomorrow for Easter dinner. He is cooking and is going to be alone with the kids since Heidi is working tomorrow afternoon. He loves to cook and sometimes goes overboard doing it. He is making a leg of lamb (I don't care for that) and a ham. He is making a lot of other things too but I can't remember what all they are.  I better get going. I have several things to do and I am meeting a friend for lunch today. She is on her way from Michigan to Chicago to spend Easter with her mom and she is stopping for us to meet. I can't wait to see her.  I hope that everyone has a wonderful day today. Stay safe and warm and we shall all meet here again later at the same place. Love and hugs to all.

Good morning! My son's here doing some heavy cleaning for me today. He'll be taking care of the ceiling fans, pulling out the appliances & cleaning behind them..and all that good stuff. My daughter will be taking care of the other stuff like vacuuming, mopping, etc. It'll be good to be in a 'clean' home again! Between Bill's eyes & my belly, we do good keeping up with the dishes..but much beyond that? Not right now..not me anyway. This works out good for the kids though since I pay them to do it.  So...while Jay is working, I'm going to keep myself busy updating my copy of the directory. BTW....did you all get your information into Floyd? If not, no fear. He updates it ~once a month. Remember, if you aren't on the directory, you won't be invited to join the Secret Elf draws (the next one is in July..so you need to be in the directory by the June update). Also, if he doesn't recieve your information, you will not be sent a copy of the directory. ONLY those who are on the directory, recieves it.  As you guys move, change email addys/phone #'s, get married, or get surgery dates be sure to let Floyd know about these so that the info on you is up-to-date & correct. Well...I better get back at it! you all have a terrific day today!  Sherri
