Well it has changed.  Last Monday I was called to be told it could possibly change and today got the word it has and is changed to April 28th.   I am very disappointed. I have got over the initial shock of total anger.  I have to realize they are human and my bad luck.  I think my husband is much more angered over this than I am.   I do believe anyone would be a little angered if their date changed three weeks before you are supposed to have surgery.  oh well Robin

I know it's frustrating but look at it as everything happens for a reason. I know thats hard to hear and I'm sorry but keep your head up.

That is a bummer but like Misty said it happened for a reason. At least its just a couple weeks and not a month or longer.

Robin, I can well understand how truly frustrating that is. I had wanted to have my hernia repair before the end of the year so that it would save me big $. On Jan. 1st, my insurance changed to where I had to pay 20% of ALL the charges...surgeon, hospital, everything. One of the 2 surgeons said no so...I had to resign to paying through the nose. It was scheduled for Jan. 21st. I was in my gown and ready to go back to surgery when the blood results came back & my white count was too low. Surgery was cancelled and rescheduled for March 3rd. So...a full two months after when I wanted it to start with! And the whole time I was off of work with reduced pay. I tried to look at it that 'at least I'd be stronger then'. It didn't stop me from being ticked off at the whole situation though. I do understand how aggrevated you are right now. Just try to consider it that for whatever reason, God knew you'd be better off waiting. That makes it easier to accept. It did for me anyway. Sherri

Thanks Sherri It is starting to look better having it at the end of April. There is so much I need to do around the house before surgery so now I have more time to do them. I have a family member flying in for the surgery to help me out. But she ended up being okay with the change and even said it was better on her that way. She is going to have to pay for a change in her reservation though.  Looking forward to seeing you at the exchange  Robin
