TGIF everyone!!!!!!

I am finding it hard to believe that I am starting this thread. That is first! I am usually the one coming up in the rear of the day and will wonders ever cease? Today there is a bit of snow on the ground but just a thin covering. The sun is out and so that is good with me. It is about 30 out and so it is colder than it had been earlier this week. I am hoping that spring is coming and the warm weather from this week is just a wonderful preview of it.  I am having to go into the church office today for the last time. I am going to miss it but not getting up so early. I am just not use to getting up at the crack of dawn and go to work. I am going to miss being with the church family that I love so much. They come in to see and visit with me. This morning Pastor is going to be in for a bit and then he is leaving and going visiting so I will be there most of the morning by myself. I usually just do little things around the office or I catch up on my reading. Anna the organist is coming in this morning to practice and so I am going to be enjoying that this morning too. Misty, how did the interview go with Wal Mart the other day? I have been thinking of you and wondering. Linda, keep your chin up today and it will be alright. I know that it is going to be a not so good day for you but I know that you will do fine. I am here if you need to chat. Sherri, how are you and Bill doing now? I hope that you both are doing a lot better. I am keeping you in my prayers.  I better get going for the day. I am going to have to clear the snow off my car and warm it up some. Brenda, have a wonderful day listening to the organist pratice.  I always enjoyed that as well.   The snow shouldn't last very long at all if the sun is already out there.  I wi**** was here, it is so cold and cloudy here.  I am really ready for Spring to be in full swing! I want to be able to get out and enjoy the nice weather. We are really needing to dry out from all this rain. Of course, you know that with all the rain we get now, who knows if we will have any during the driest, hottest part of the summer! Have a great day! Enjoy it!

Thanks, the anticipation of today is always worse then the acutal day. It's a sad day, don't get me wrong, but I'll get through it. Thanks to Gail for the ecard, and to other people for the prayers and thoughts. This morning I was down to 160 again. I am pleased by that. I have really gotten back on the wagon. I can maintain these numbers. Maybe I can even get down to 145 this year and achieve that goal.  

Linda: my thought and prayers are with you today.  I just can't imagine the heatache.  My kids a 31 and 22 and I still don't think I could handle it if anything happened to them. My son 22 is insulin dependent diabetic and does not take care of himself like he should.  He still lives at home and I fear for the day he moves out becasue I know he will die without us looking after him.  We expect to see our parents and even siblings die before us but not our children. What a lousey night it was here last night.  We had ice, sleet snow. ICK. When will spring get here. I'm glad it is finally Friday.  We are going up tp Michigan tomorrow RV shopping.  There is a dealer in Grand Rapids that has all three of the models we are considering buying so it is worth the drive to be able to see them side by side.
