Hey Gang, I wanted to show a few new family pics, I got them back on thursday. Yesterday, I had my preop testing and it looks great. I was cleared for surgery, The only thing is they believe I have asthma! Hmm go figure, I thought I had a few really really bad bouts of bronchitis this past few years. I should get official results back in a few days or a week I guess but the Internest that spoke to me at the end said He Knows that I completely in shape for surgery.  I stopped in and saw Tiffany, too. She looked great. Makes me even more ready. To know that you can looked great the next day makes me feel even better about my desision to do it. Thanks for all the support and kind words and emails. I had a really bad week and to know that I have everyone on here for support really helps me out alot. I had a panic/anxiety attack on Thursday and then alot of other stress insued. I take zoloft but I guess I was due for a big attack soon. Which then sets me into hypervenilation. Makes more sense now that I might have asthma.Hopefully i will get confirmation soon. Have a great day. Shanna familypic2008.jpg image by bellasmom16terryandI2008.jpg image by bellasmom16bellas3.jpg image by bellasmom16family2008.jpg image by bellasmom16

Shanna, What lovely pictures!! Thank you so much for sharing them with us.  Don't worry too much over the asthma. It certainly didn't stop me from getting any surgery. It is good to get/have it under control though. I'm glad all else went well with your pre-op testing.  Did you get your approval?? Didn't I see a post about the insurance saying they didn't get your paperwork this week? Most doctors will wait and schedule your surgery after they get verification of approval from the insurance...and schedule any pre-op stuff (testing, dieticians) a week or so before the surgery's scheduled date. It would be very unique for someone to have the pre-op testing without the surgery date or pre-approval recieved. Well..unless they are self-pay maybe. If all hasn't gone through yet, I sure hope it does soon for you! Sherri

For some reason Dr. Mattars Office goes ahead and schedules preop testing before. Both Tiffany and I had preop testing done before we were eben approved. Dr. Mattars Office seems very very sure That I will get approved. I guess so sure they scheduled preop testing as soon as I was done with my 6 months. I had that date for testing for 3 weeks. Thanks SHanna

(( HUGS )) Shanna. DOn't worry bout the Asthma stuff.. I have pretty moderate to severe Asthma, I was still able to have my surgery. I did have some breathing issues post op and oxygen issues but it was taken care of relatively quickly and they ended up having to put me on cpap for a couple hours and it delayed me being able to get any pain meds til it improved some. I know some people who have Asthma that haven't had those issues though soo I wouldn't worry too much about it! The pics are gorgeous! You have such a beauuuutiful family girl! Keep your chin up. (( HUGS ))
