Back from vacation. Lots of WOWs!!!
Well we're officially back from Gatlinburg and we had a fantastic time. It is so good to be home though. Gatlinburg is not a week vacation kind of place. If we ever go back, we'll only stay for the weekend or so. Everything there cost a FORTUNE! We did have a good time but we spent way too much money.
I had lots of Wow moments while on our vacation. We went to the NASCAR Speedpark and rode in gocarts. I never would've fit in one before. We also rode rides with our 6 yr old daughter. I actually rode in a kiddie roller coaster! All three of us fit in the scrambler seat and the tilt-a-whirl!
We also went horse back riding. Troy had to pay extra for a "heavy load" but I didn't!!!! Whoohoo!!! It's the first time I've ever found a place that I could actually ride one of their horses and I was little enough to ride a regular horse!!!
We went on three hikes up the mountain to see waterfalls. Each hike was over two miles long. One was even labeled "moderate" on the difficulty. There's no way I could've ever done any of those.
Troy even made a comment on how much more we did on this vacation. It was amazing!
My birthday was on Tuesday and that's the day we went horse back riding up the mountain. It was an amazing birthday.
When we got home I had some nice cards in the mail and some ecards too! It was so nice!!!! Some weren't even birthday cards but ones just letting me know that I'm loved. How special. I just love you guys so much. What a great bunch of friends I have here.
It will take me forever to catch up on what's been going on here. I hope everyone is doing well. I missed you all so much!
Smooches,
Jacqui
Wow!!! Sounds like you had a blast. I wish I had been there. I've been talking about going there for years and it sounds like maybe now we would enjoy it more. I look forward to hearing more about when we see you again. The last time I went horseback riding it was in Spain and I thought my horse was going to have a stoke or something, he just didn't want to move. Probably had a lot to do with the "load" he was carrying. Are we still going to see you on the 5th and/or 12th? I sure hope so.
Glad you're back. I love reading your posts. They always make me laugh.
See you soon,
Brenda
Jacqui, so glad that you enjoyed your vacation. You certainly had a lot of WOW moments didn't you? Way to go for sure. They are just wonderful moments and it seems to just keep better and better. Every one of your moments are the same in that they are just so neat. You smile and laugh, sometimes to yourself and other times on the inside. They may be the same in that but so different one from the other. Keep up the great work, my sweetie and things will be unbeleiveable!!!
Yay for having a great vacation!! My husband and I have been to Gatlinburg twice, and I think 4 days is the longest we've stayed. Yay for all your WOW moments...how thrilling!!
Wish I could meet up with you all at the exchange this weekend, but I'll be home recouping...I'm planning to be at the next one though!

Glad your home Jacqui. I forgot you were going on vacation and hadnt seen you post in awhile and I asked on here if anyone had heard from you. Someone said I think she went on vacation. Then I remember you were going.
My family and I went down there to Pigeon Forge a few years ago and we stayed for a week and we werent ready to come back. We stayed in a hotel right across from Dixie Stampede. Next time we go, we will stay in a cabin. Those cabins are so beautiful.
Sounds like you had a blast and got lots of exercise.
