Its a new Week.....Monday

Wow everyone sorry about that font being so huge in my last post.  Been up all night and very tired.

Its been along time since I opened the chat for the day.  Dont think I know 1/2 the ppl posting anymore.  I hope u all have a good day and Thank you Gail for the phone call the other night.  Im sorry I couldnt talk longer.  I would have swore it was a full moon.  We had a really bad weekend here at work.

Later that night after I talked to you I was driving around delivering paper work to the different buildings when a young guy in a hooded jacket tried to get in my car...well I had the doors locked and I was able to get away...go for help and the police picked him up a few blocks away and arrested him.

Well thats all the news I have for now and its time for me to go home...my relief is here...YIPPEE

Good morning all.  This is a start of a busy week for me.  Dinner with Mark and Janene on Wednesday and our 2 year surgery checkup in Dayton, Ohio on Thursday. We're spending the night with friends there and spending the day Friday going to the outlet mall and commissary over there. I have a hair appointment Friday afternoon then back home to get ready for the clothing exchange and Floyd's birthday on Saturday.  When do I have time to work??? Pam...I"m sorry to hear about that incident and happy to hear you are safe and they caught the guy. It is so scarey out there any more. You can't even do your job without a fright like that. I'm sure he'll come up with some lie or story to try to get out of it. Everyone have a safe and happy day. Hope to see you Wednesday at dinner and/or Saturday at the clothing exchange.

Pam, hon, I am so glad that you are ok. I have been thinking about you and wondered how you have been, and now I know! Take it easy this week if you can! LOL Not much going on here today, just payday, so it is off to pay bills!  Oh yeah, and the girls are FINALLY going back to school!!! They haven't been in school in what would be 5 WEEKS tomorrow, due to the flooding!  I am just glad that they got to do something on their spring break and they didn't stay bored the whole time.   I think I am going to get my hair trimmed and colored tomorrow, so I am excited about that.  Tomorrow, Tuesday, is my 3 month checkup at my drs office, and I can't wait to see his reaction! LOL Today I am going shopping for all the goodies that I need for the exchange.  I can't wait to try the meatballs! LOL  Yummy sounding to me!  Do I need to run a few copies of the recipe off and bring with me?  I remember seeing a post about that at a previous CE, and just wondered if that was still the case. Oh well, gotta make sure the girls are ready to get on the bus.  Have a wonderful day!

Good morning all! I am getting excited about the clothing exchange. I am needing some new clothes so bad.  I just hope there are some there that will fit me.  So how does it work, is it kind of like a rummage sale and people just lay there clothes out on tables with all the sizes together?  Just curious! Yesterday we had a belated Easter dinner at my inlaws.  My new nickname is skinny Jenny...lol! My mom in law actually told me I do not need to lose anymore. I said oh yes I do.  I said I want to lose 30-40 more.  She said you are going to get down sick.  I swear those worrying moms.  I think she is concerned I will lose it where I dont need to.  I mostly just need to lose in my thighs and butt now.  Hopefully, I will.  I think I am going to bring a bean dip to the exchange with some baked tostitos. **Janene, I told Shannon about the car show in Wabash and he said we would try to be there as long as it isnt on a day that our car club sponsors one.  So let me know as soon as you know when it is. **Pam, I am glad you had your doors locked.  That would have been scarry.  I am glad that the police got him. **LaChelle, Your kids have been out of school for 5 wks?  Oh my, I bet you are ready for them to go back. Morning all.  Well I'm back at work after our vacation.  I don't even want to look at the pile of stuff on my desk.  Ahhhh Mondays.

I can't come to the clothing exchange but I am coming to Indy the next weekend for Brenda's Pampered Chef party.  I have tons of clothes to give away and I will bring them.  I think Ellen is going to get some of my suits for her daughter.  Brenda and Ellen are going to "shop" for me too at the exchange.  I really need some spring clothes. I have so much to do here so I guess I should keep it short. Smooches, Jacqui

Good morning everyone in Hoosier Land. I hope that the day is treating you well.  It is kind of rainy here but not a lot. I know that they are calling for torental rains later on today.     I just keep in mind that the rains help grow the lovely flowers that we enjoy during the spring and summer. There is a postive in every negative if you find it. Sometimes that is hard to do though. lol        I have bible study tonight but if the bad rains come I am staying home. I had a bad accident one night in the rain and since then I am afraid of driving in it    . I will if the rain is just a bit but not if it is a bad one. I am a mess if it starts while I am driving. I just white knuckle it to where I am going. Praying all the while I am getting there.  Just staying home today as far as I know. I should do some housework around here.   I hate to do it but so far I haven't found a good fairy that comes to do it.   If anyone finds the fairy would you please send her here? I really need her help. I have to much stuff for my "cozy", which is my nice word for small, apartment. I am being suffocated in crap around here. The Goodwill across the street is getting a lot of things from me.    I better get going since there is some things I need to do before Bill leaves for work. The way things are going here I am glad that he is working this afternoon. He is driving me nuts today.    I hope that everyone has a blessed day today and stays safe, warm and dry. OMG Pam I would have been terrified. Hope it doesn't give you night mares. I know it would me. So glad you were able to get away and better yet that the police got him off the streets if for only a shor while.  I get so discourged with the legal system anymore.  I seems the criminals have more rights than the victims.  My husband is in probation and I hear stories daily about what the judges and attorneys do with some of these cases. Makes me so mad. Hope you are doing well other wise Pam. Haven't messaged you for a while.  I've been crazy at work also.  Can't wait to get some time off and go camping!  Which brings me to the bright spot in our weekend.  We bought a new RV.  Did it Saturday becasue of our fine state raising the tax rate 4/1.  We have been looking but planned to sell our little Rialta first.  Oh well, we are a two RV family for a while.  Anyone want to buy a very nice 2002 Rialta.  Only 21,700 miles. Sleeps four. has generator and fully contained.  Great gas mileage, 18 mpg.  Drives like a car.  Has a 6 cyl VW engine.  Great for vacations.  Lot of people that show dogs and cats use these to go to shows.
