I don't know if I can take one more thing. This year, 2008, seems to be a year for missing things. I miss my house, my car, my dogs, and my son, among other things. The bankruptcy that got us out from under the house and car helped in a way, but life is so different now. Then we had to find homes for the dogs to move into the apartment we got. Now, Mikey's in the hospital in residential care. I just want things to be easy for a little bit.

Hang in there Linda. I know you miss your house and car but they were things that can be replaced in the future. You still have Mikey, you are doing the best thing for him right now. Things will improve.

Hi Linda, Remember that with all of the changes you've made lately, that you will have to go through the grief process.  It's perfectly normal to grieve for all the "things" you've given up in order to improve your life.  Just keep in mind that you made these changes for a reason, to accomplish specific goals and try to keep those goals in sight.  It will help you to see the value of the tough choices you've had to make recently.  It takes a strong person to make those kinds of choices and you have shown us all what a strong women you are.  Trust in yourself and your choices!  You are worth it.

Hey Linda!   I hate that things are not going your way.  You are such a kind, deserving person! I know your heart is breaking because you miss Mikey.  I can't blame you a bit.  I I have not been off to a great start this year either.  My emotions, depression, and compulsive behaviors are suffocating at times.   Remember that even though life is trying right now, you are still loved and blessed.  Take care!  You are in my prayers!!  I miss you!!!

Hang in there Linda! If God brings you to it, he will get you through it.  Things may not always seem fair or going the way we would like it to, but it will get better.  Keeping you and your family in my prayers.

Linda, there will be an end to all the turmoil that you have been going through. Like my signature says and I firmly believe that if God brings you to it he will get you through it. The old saying goes that God never gives you more than you can handle but at the end I always say it as God never gives you more than you and him together can handle. With him all things are possible and he will help you get through it all. I am remembering you and your family in my prayers.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Just wanted to say that I think it took alot of courage to make the decisions you have made up to this point.  You need to just face forward and watch to see what you are working toward. Its there....see it...you take steps everyday toward it! You are getting there and your steps are growing stronger by the day! You can do this....you can get through this!  We have faith in you...... Big Hug
