Hello all,... how are you doing? I hope well. It's early Tuesday morning, and I am up, so here I am. Today I'm scheduled to give blood. I found out Indiana Blood Center has a new program where you earn points towards rewards. I'm all about that. (I give regularly anyway, but free stuff? Sign me up!) After hearing about a couple of people who got PS paid for by insurance, I decided to move forward with it after all. I got an appointment for 5/7 with either Dr. Bergman or Dr. Grassee, now that I think about it they didn't tell me who. D'oh. I just requested one of those two. Oh well, I'll see who I get. I can't afford to pay for it, so I'll have to see if insurance will cover any. So if they can, great, if not, it was a day off of work, right? I went to the support group in Terre Haute last night. It was pretty interesting. It was about body image with a dietician/psychologist from St. V. The moderator mentioned that someone was looking for a used bike. That was me! I want to get back to riding. If anyone on here has one, I would love to have it. I come through Indy weekly on my way to Jeffersonville to see Mikey, but I could also go the SR 46 route if you're on that route for pick-up. Please let me know if you have one you don't need! Anyways, I am going to get going. I just wanted to finish up with thanking you all for the support I've been getting. It means alot to me.

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou has done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

ROCK ON! Thank you E! I will be travelling again on Friday. Just send me a message on OH, or email me at [email protected] with your address and phone number, so that we can arrange a pick up. You don't know how much this will help me out with staying on track health-wise, but also budget-wise too. Thanks. PS. If Friday's not good for you, just let me know that, too.

Good Tuesday morning all.  Time to get ready to go to the dr for my 3 month checkup.  I can't wait to see their expressions! LOL  I am also going shopping today while I am in Louisville....gotta get a few things for this weekend.  Tomorrow night I am going to start making my meatballs and get them ready. I will assemble them and freeze them so they will be ready to bake Friday night and then crock-pot them for Saturday morning! LOL  I am so freaking excited about the exchange! I can't wait to meet everyone! Linda, glad to hear that E has a bike for you. I would love to ride a bike again as well, but with the hills that I live on, there wouldn't be any human possible way I could climb them!  I sure would love to try tho!  Also, when you say Jeffersonville, do you mean by Louisville? Just wondered if there was another one closer to you up there as well.   Have a great day all. I have my birthday dinner to attend this evening, so I will talk to you all tomorrow! Have a great one!

Yup,.. Jeffersonville by Louisville. That was the closest place to us that had a residential bed for Mikey. We are down there weekly. It's about 3 hours from Terre Haute, so it's a trek, but he's definately worth it.

Ok, I am just about 45 minutes from there then, so if you ever need to stop in on your way down, please let me know. I am here if you need help!

Wow Linda...you go all the way up to Indy before heading south? Wouldn't it be closer to cut accross 46 through Bloomington (take exit 11 off of I-70, I think)  to get to 65? I'm all for interstate driving over highway driving..but that seems like alot of distance out of the way to me. Sherri

We tried SR 46, but it's slower driving, and a lower speed limit, and took us the same amount of time to get there. So I prefer the straight, flat roads on the interstate. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Good morning everyone! I don't have any plans for today really. Tomorrow, if I'm not hurting from my dentist appointment in the morning...and if Floyd & Brenda doesn't mind swinging by and picking us up, Bill & I are planning on joining in at Ted's for dinner tomorrow night. We even looked at the menu and kinda know what we want to order..lol. Bison! Meatloaf for him, steak for me. Of course, we'll have to taste each others..lol. I really want to try that squash casserole too! I'm thinking about making a pot of veggie stew for Saturday. It's meatless, but has beans. Per the recipe, it's 14 g of protein per serving but I'm going to up that a little by using Swanson's chicken broth (5 g per serving) in place of some of the veggie broth it calls for. We'll see. That's what I'm thinking today anyway. I asked Tiffany if she'd like to go. I think she already feels like she knows many of you...lol. She hasn't gotten back with me yet on it. Shanna...I'm so happy for you that Hell dropped of few degrees! Your date is going to get here very quickly. Linda...I just now noticed that you did mention 46 in your note. That's the way I think I'd routinely go from Terre Haute. It just seems to me that Indy would be out of the way. I guess I'm lazy with my driving..lol! Good luck with your plastics appointment. Both ladies are terrific! I wouldn't doubt it if you'll be seeing Dr. Bergman. Alot of my appointments have been on Wednesdays with her (and I don't normally see Dr. Grassee there when I am there). If you've had any rashes at all, most insurances will pay for the panni portion (below belly button). You all have a good day! Sherri
