The liver doc called today and my biopsey came back from the 2nd patholigist and I do have billiary cirrusus...He will see me this friday to decuss treatment and do disalbity for my early retirement from the post office..my appt is 10.45 am ..so misty I will look for you up there and hopefully we can see each other and give us both big hugss...

I'm sorry to hear that your health is suffering. I hope there is some kind of treatment they can do for you. Just remember that they come up with new stuff all the time.

(( hugs )) for you. My appointment is at 11:30 i believe. My levels are doing funky things they keep fluctuating as far as my liver enzymes. I've debated even keeping the appointment because a couple of them are in normal range again but rising but then this has happened so many times where they shoot up that high for no apparent reason that I probally need to get it checked out. I hope to see you. :) If nothing else we'll probally pass each other.

Sandra, I started doing a bit of research as soon as I read your post. It looks like this is something that can be treated without a transplant. Has the doc said anything about how far it has progressed? I'm guessing it's fairly early since it's been difficult to diagnose. That's my prayer anyway.
