Hello all!!! How are you doing? I hope well. Today is my favorite work day --- PAY DAY!!! Plus on top of that, state employees are getting their One Care Street incentive today. (One Care Street is a health coaching company. If you agreed to submit information for possible health coaching, you get extra $$$.) Since we have a family on the health insurance, we got almost $200 extra today. It's such a relief, because otherwise my check was going to be low from missing to see Mikey last time. I took a whole day unpaid. Anyway, today, I've got work here at Voc Rehab, and work tonight at Sears. Nothing interesting going on, really. I was at the grocery store this morning, and saw on the cover of the tabloid magazine pictures of Carnie Wilson, saying she was back up to 227 pounds, and considering another procedure. Regain scares the bejesus out of me. I can't imagine going though all this and feeling this good about my weight and health, and losing that. Today I'm actually feeling pretty good. I was really worried about Mikey yesterday, and feeling bad for having him down there, as he was having a rough time. I still do have worries that we made the wrong choice, but I think that's just the overprotective mama in me. I think the program will help. But anyway, I feel good today. I hope the sun comes out and it's going to be a good day all around.

Good morning everyone!! I'll be getting ready soon for the dentist...again! I get the temp for my root canal removed & the permanent filling/post put in, plus they'll be doing the impression for the crown. I'll have to go back again to have the crown put on when it comes in...probably 1- 2 weeks from now. Then maye we'll discuss when to do the filling for the tooth I had originally been scheduled to have worked on...lol! I think I lost a filling in another tooth too. It doesn't hurt, but I'm going to ask her about it this morning (if I remember...lol).  I sure am hoping that my mouth isn't too sore from this morning. I don't know if she'll have to numb me u*****t either. Hope not...I REALLY want to go tonight! Bill & I pretty much know what we want to order even! LOL! Thank you Floyd for sharing that menu with us! I loved it that you could check out the prices!!! That makes it easier for everyone not to get a surprise when they get there. I'm still getting the Bison steak though! LOL! I just wish they had french onion soup (what I love to try no matter where we are!) and I wish you could get the Bison ribs ANY day and not just on Saturdays. Needless to say, we are going to have to try it again on a Saturday. LOL! Who else plans on coming tonight? Check out Floyd's post for more info!! Floyd & Brenda.... give me a call when you get off to see how the dentist went..k? Janene, I didn't know that Mark was interviewing here today. How cool would that be for you guys to move to the Indy area?!?! If it were up to me, all of you all would be in EASY driving distance!! I hope you all have a terrific day today!! love ya's ! Good morning all! I am working today as usual.  The sun is shining and it seems to be warming up a little bit.  I am suppose to have my 6 mos. check up with Dr. Gupta tomorrow, but I may have to reschedule. I cant get anybody to cover my shift so I can go.  With my line of work, I cant just call in and not have coverage, being on an ambulance somebody has to cover me or we have to go out of service.  So, I will probably have to call today and get another appt.  But I will be there on Saturday...looking forward to it! Everyone that is going out tonight for supper...have fun! Enjoy your day everyone!

We'll probally go out to dinner somewhere but I don't know what we're going to do. LOL We have no big plans at all. Anyways not much else happening here just the same ol same ol. :) I could use those 70 degree temps we had the other day without the rain again.

Hi Everybody,

Well, isn't it grand to see the sunshine!!!!  Flower  I gotta "itch" to go camping- darn if we can right now!!!Dana is going to be working pt. at the lawn repair place he worked for last yr. so trying to plan anything right now is out. Oh well, I'll go to the park and walk, read, pretend. I really have had a rough winter this yr. and so has he- I think we may just become "snowbirds" if i can talk him into it! With the prices going up, I'm ready to find a pt. time job somewhere. I tell you, I don't know how our young families are doing it-making it with todays prices! Next week is my grandkids Spring Breakand I'll be spending time with them while Mom & Dad are at work- yup, babysitting. Oh, I hope to find some fun things to do at Indy/Carmel that don't cost an arm & leg.I checked out the Childrens Museum-$12.50 adults & $7.50 kids- yikes!!!!           I took our girls when they were small & it was FREE!!!! If anyone has any free-low cost ideas would you pm. me? I'll be up there the 8-9-10th.We've been going to the Library weekly, but I think the 8yr. old is getting bored with it, & I can only take so much of McD's playland!!!  Sherri- hope all goes well at the dentist! Yesturday we found out Hunter is going to have to go in for oral surgery to have spacers put in, plus 6 teeth either filled or capped. Poor kid has horrible teeth and they have to sedate him. (May have to sedate Amy & me too, before it is overhee~hee!) Brenda, Floyd, Bill & Sherri, and anyone else that goes, have fun tonight with Janene & Mike. Enjoy that buffolo- sorry we can't be there!  Have a great day everyone!!!! Thumbs Up  ((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))) Ellen

Ellen, I wish I could come with you!  I love kids!!! Have you checked the zoo?  We're members at the Evansville Zoo.  It's a very inexpensive way to have fun outdoors.  We've taken Luci since she was a wee baby.  Now it's a tradition.  We go at least once a month when the weather gets nice.  It's been a while since I've been to the Indy Zoo but I don't think it took much money to get in. Hope this helps and have a great time! Smooches, Jacqui

Hi All, Speaking of the Zoo.  We are members of the Indianapolis Zoo.  I'm leaving early today to take my kids and my niece.  We're also going to the Whitewater Gardens to see the butterflies.  They are more active when the sun is shining.  The Zoo isn't very cheap unfortunately.  I think it is $9 or $10 for adults and $6 or $7 for kids.  Even the memberships are getting expensive because now you can only get combo memberships for the Zoo and Gardens.  For a family plus 2 guests that runs about $139 per year.   Ellen, there is a place in Greenwood called Bouncer Town.  It only costs $3 per kid to get in and there is plenty of indoor play room.  It's loud, but my daughter really enjoys it.  Not sure that it's an improvement over the McDonalds playland though!

Well gotta go so I can pick up the kids.  Hope everyone has a great afternoon.

Cindy
