Good morning, fellow Hoosiers. I am glad that the weather is nice and sunny for the exchange. At least it is here in the NW region part of the state.

I am sitting here in my recliner with such a back ache I can hardly stand it. I am uncomfortable how ever I sit or lay or stand so what other position is available?!    Question Mark Bill going to  be leaving for work in a few hours and I hate that he is working today. I really look forward to our week ends and this one is cut short. I am not going to church in the morning so I can at least spend one day with him. Oh well, what can I do about it? Not a thing so it is going in the waste basket since I am powerless over it.   Trashcan That is what I do when I have no control over a situation. I learned that in Overeaters Anonymous and I find that is helpful to me. I am hoping to do something today but the way I feel right now it doesn't look likely. I haven't had it in my back like this for a long time and I don't like it one bit. I use to live like this every day before my surgery and so since it isn't like this anymore I am having to get use to it all over again. I have such a terrible back. The doctors have told me that if I fall I could break my back without much problem. Bill sometimes thinks I am to careful especially in the winter since he things I walk wrong on the ice. I probably do since I am so afraid of falling I stiffen up and slide my feet. He tells me to relax and lift my feet up. I know he is right since when I do that I do better but sometimes the old me comes up and I just want to do things my way even if they are the wrong way. Sometimes being stubborn isn't all it's cracked up to be.    Happy  I better get going since I have gone on and on. I send all my love and big hugs to all and hope that you have a wonderful day today. I will check in later on to see how things went at the exchange. I hope that everyone has a fantabulous time and shares a lot of hugs with each other. That is what I am looking forward to when I get to one of them.   Big Hug

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Hello Everyone!

I hope everyone is/had fun at the clothing exchange. I was really hoping to make it but - uhm - I'm having some health issues from the side effects from the radiation and chemotherapy right now. I was hopeing they would have subsided enough for me to attend, but on most days getting up out of bed for my daily radiation treatments have been a really big struggle. Not to mention - I've developed a bad radiation burn. So I'm relaxing at home, bored (hahah), but relaxing.

It's just me, Matt, and baby Q this weekend. Since I'm not much of anything right now, Matt is using this time to introduce baby Q to some relatives that live close by that still haven't seen him.

Monday is my last radiation and chemo treatment. I'll have the rest of the week off to heal and recoup then it's 3 trips (one each week) for 2-3 hours of enteral radiation where they plant the radioactive seed under my skin and I sit in an isolation room and watch tv and have lunch. After that I'll have a check up in a month and I'm hoping everything will be clear so that I can resume life again.

I hope everyone enjoys that great weather this weekend.
