I had such a wonderful time! I am glad I was able to meet alot of you. Looking forward to the next one. Are you guys okay at keeping with the Church? Let me know I would love to host it again if you want me to.   3 more weeks till my surgery and I am just tickled pink. Robin

Robin, Thank you so much for arranging this today. I think it would be fantastic having it at the church! It had a terrific layout!! EVEN the kitchen! I think the way it was set up kept  little kids out of there..which...considering I am still recouping, I was able to take my guard down and that was very, very good. I thought today went very well completely ....except ....GENTLEMEN .... we could use a few more of you helping with the setting up of & taking down of the tables....k? I know some of the ladies could handle them but we would have no qualm what-so-ever in letting you men be macho and handling the heavy work for us... I know...who am I to talk since I wasn't able to help with a single table right now..but....even if I could, I'd still have no problem sticking to the kitchen/clothes with my 'helping' out. With it being on the west side, I think that helps to even things out abit since so many of the activities tend to be over here on the east side ... besides, us east siders have no problem driving over at all. If you ever need/want a donation Robin for the use of the church, PLEASE let us know. Oh...and be sure to remind us of your church's food pantry for the needy prior to the next exchange. I think the least ANY of us can do is toss in a few non-parishables to donate for that cause! Perhaps we can set up a box or something close to the entry door for people to put their items into....? We, who have fought so hard to live healthy & eat healthy...it's only fitting for us to 'give back' some by helping others to get the nutrition their body needs. Just my take on things... Sherri

Robin,

Thanks again! It was nice and I enjoyed visting an exchange as much as hosting one! I agree with Sherri and like I said to you asking for donations isn't bad, although it wouldn't be required, of course. for those interested in donating a few food/necessitie items would be wonderful and indeed appreciated by others! We all get free clothing and great socialization and someone else can get somthing that they are in need of as well- that would be wonderful! Maybe you could post a list of items that you know are needed more and we all can make a donation at the next exchange. By the way, the tent idea was great also, especially in July if it is going to be nice outside! It was a blast and great to meet so many of the new faces and also able to visit with some that I know had been at my previous exchanges but unfortunately I wasn't really able to socialize that much or may not have even noticed that it was-----(whomever) that was nice! Thanks again! Give me a call. Can't wait for your journey to begin. Will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers! It isan amazing journey and you are almost on your way! Hugz Dawn

Best to you with your upcoming surgery!! The clothing exchange went great!!! Think it is a great idea to have evceryone bring a can or 2 of food for the food pantry.. and taking the left over clothing was very helpful to us!! Someone usually has to cart it off. I helped some with the clean up but had to get home because I promised to get the triplets to the park.. we had a great time at Swinford Park in Plainfield. then on to cracker barrel!! See ya next time!! Linda kay

Robin, Thanks so much for hosting the clothing exchange.  I know you put a lot of effort into it.  I thought it was just wonderful.  The set up was very "user friendly".  I would be happy to make a donation to the food pantry (or monetary) if that would help out your church.  It would be a small enough thank you for their hospitality.   Good luck with your upcoming surgery.  Hope your recovery is a  speedy one.

OMG I got to meet more of my Indiana Posse today and I GOT LOTS OF HUGGGGGGGGS! I think I got to meet everyone...except..LIN!!!!!!!  How the heck did that happen! I hope y'all got home safe with your "new clothes". ..I did! When is the next get together????? I think we should call it "HUG FEST" or "HUG STOCK" LOL Thanks to y'all for the huggggggggggs and the wonderful time! Robin, I think your church would be an excellent place to hold them and I agree with Sherri...we need to donate to the food bank or even toiletries...I do know that if you get Food stamps you can't purchase cleaners...or toiletries so maybe we need to take a big collection up of toilet paper...or laundry soap...or something like that. I know those were big helps at my church in texas...once a month we had a toiletries Sunday...naming which was needed.  I can't wait to see y'all again... Thanks to y'all for all the support! luv ya HUGGGGGGGGGS Janene
