Holiday World/Splashin' Safari

I just got off the phone with Holiday World and they can offer us the discounted rate of $25.75 per person (general admission is $39.95 this year).  I thought it sounded like a great deal.  We can also get a rate of $30-$34 per person and they will cater a meal for us but the items on the menu aren't pouch friendly.  I thought we wouldn't be interested.  There is a large picnic area outside the gates of the park that we can use for free and we can just bring foods to share. We get unlimited free soft drinks and sun screen. I just need a date to tell them so I can post it on the Kentucky and Illinois boards.  If we have enough people show up, we're going to load the voyage (their newest roller coaster) with only post ops for photos.  The newspapers will be there and Holiday World will put it on their website too. I'm really, really excited about this.  I hope we get a great turnout! Throw me some dates! Smooches, Jacqui

It doesn't matter to me.  Whatever works best for everyone.  The crowds are less during the week.

OOOHH, This sounds like a blast! During the week, I could come on Wenesdays, actually come down Tuesday night and stay over, BUT event for the day would have to be Wednesday! Any weekend would be great, too. I know its busy then. Let me know! I totally understand that it can't be accessible for everyone, BUT if it works out for me and my gang, count us in!!! Yippee! Any day would be fine with me. If it is during the week, I can take off from work with no problems.

I'd love to go but it depends when and all that stuff. I really look forward to going to a water park this year but if my G-tube doesn't get taken out on the 21st then I'm stuck with it 3 more months. I'm gonna think positive and say it's coming out.

My only requests are NOT on 5/31, 6/23, 8/22, or 8/23. Those are birthdays and holidays in our family. I would love to come otherwise.

Would the reduced entrance fee be for WLS'ers only, or for our families too?

This is SOOOO Awesome!!!  Anytime during the weeks is pretty much open for me........Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays are the best choices for me as well.  Thanks so much for checking into this.  I love the idea about the Voyage photo shoot!  That is one hell of a roller coaster!  Keep us posted on dates!!!  The price is great!

Put it together and those that can come will.  It would be tough to get a date that all can attend.  Maybe a Friday or Monday would be good and offer everyone a long weekend. Bless you E
