Good Sunday Morning all.  It is really early, but I have to work this morning.  Oh well. We are supposed to have snow and sleet today. What in the world is up with this weather?!?!?  I am ready for real sunshine! I found someone local that has 2 complete sets of golf clubs with the bags for $50, so I get to pick them up on Tuesday! I am so excited!!!  I went ahead and grabbed both sets, so Jimmy can go play as well.  He doesn't really like to play, but if I am playing, he may want to go as well.  I hope so. Have a wonderful day all.  I will talk to you later.
At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!

Good morning everyone!                                                                                                                               I hope you all had a good day yesterday. With the PC party, I sure did! Today, Bill & I are going to head to the fairgrounds for the Country Music Expo. I can't wait to see Randy Owens (among many other top names)! Our kids are going to all meet us there. It ought to be a very good day! I may even have to see if I can find me a new cowgirl hat & boots!  My favorite hat right now is kind-of Aussie inspired so I don't really have a 'true' western hat. Hmmm...I might even check out the belts. I think I can pull off a little bit bigger of a buckle now.  I love checking out all the vendors! It use to be though that them & the singers were all in one building so you could check them out and listen at the same time. I guess with the crowds getting bigger & bigger each year though, they have the vendors & concessions in one building and the singing in the building next to it.                   For those of you who live locally:  I am hoping to get the schedule out to Jodi & her mom of who is willing to come & help out and when. If you haven't volunteered already, and would like to, please drop me an email ASAP! There is some heavy cleaning that needs done (definately a man's work!)...but if no one volunteers for that, I plan to talk my son & son-in-law into it (they owe me $ so it's a good way for them to pay me back some). That stuff is cleaning & organizing the garage and carpet shampooing. Other than that, Pam, Jodi's mom, can use help with housecleaning, watching Quin, and walking the dogs (two ****zu mix). Also, covered, prepared dishes would be great. Jodi was told not to lose anymore weight but with everything, she's lost an additional 15 lbs...so dishes can definately be high in carbs. Jodi has had the lap-band, so sugar really doesn't bother her either. The only thing she really avoids right now according to Pam is deep fried foods. The smell of food cooking makes Jodi queezy so prepared dishes are SO appreciated right now. There are no known food alergies although Jodi's preference is chicken/turkey over red meat. So far, the next two weekends are booked up, as if this coming Thursday. If you can make it over there, let me know the date, time, what you plan on doing (housework, etc), and if you are bringing a dish...what you plan to bring.  For those who don't live locally...please remember Jodi by dropping her a card in the mail or sending her an e-card. She's in the Directory. If you aren't, drop me a line & I'll send you her info (and drop Floyd a note so you can be put in it at [email protected]). Gas cards (Speedway or any other national station) & food cards (Kroger, WalMart, National fast food places) are well appreciated at this time as well.                                                                                                                   I talked with Jodi on the phone yesterday. She called me right after I got to Brenda's. She is trying so hard to regain some strength before her next internal radiation treatment. I just wished I could have hugged her over the phone lines. That poor girl has been through so much. She is keeping her eye on her August 2nd wedding and being with Matt and her sons. It was heavy on her mind so we did talk briefly about recent events. I told her to worry about getting herself well...and to leave it to the folks on here to ensure our board stays healthy as well. I assured her that this board will be well & strong for a very long time to come! I also encouraged her, as I would anyone, to block anyone who upsets her on here, her MySpace, her email, or anywhere else. She especially needs positive vibes at this time!! So folks..if you like to send e-cards..she is one who could especially need one about now...ok? Put a smile on her face!  I told her that I was booking a Pampered Chef party off of Brend for May (it'll be May 17th). She is SO hoping to be able to come. It would be fantastic having her at it!                                                                                                                                       Well..I better hop in the shower so I can go get country! You all have a fantastic day! Oh...I tried on some pants yesterday and I have about a dozen pair I can get into now! Woo-hoo! Some fit best without the binder..and some fell down if I didn't have my binder on...lol! Just a little more swelling gone and I'll be doing A-OK with my clothes!! LOL!                                                       Sherri

Angie.. Jodi was diagnosed with cervical cancer. They did a complete hysterectomy and found cancer in what they removed. So they removed all of her abdominal lymph nodes..and found cancer in that. So she has been going through chemo and radiation..and now, internal radiation. Needless to say, all of it has really gotten to her. And yes...Quin did indeed save her life..I think so anyway.
