Hi Robin. I am glad to have the date and the address. I was wondering if you could pm me with directions since I have no idea where anything is down south. I am here by Lake Michigan. I know I get on 65 and go south but that is it for me. Bill is even worse for directions and he is driving. I am the official direction giver. What a couple we are for sure. lol Thanks a lot.

Brenda, I went to mapquest and clicked on directions then put in my address as the starting destination and then the ending destination I put the church address and it got me right there.  You might try that.

Thank you for the information on the next one.  Could you or someone explain how the exchange works. Thanks, Carol

Carol, You bring the clothes that you have "shrunk" out of and then you can shop for clothes in your new size or a size smaller. If you are pre-op and don't really have clothes to bring, that's okay.  You can still come and after the post-op folks have 15 minutes to shop then all pre-op and invited guests are also given the opportunity to shop.  The clothing not needed by our group is then given to the church we will be at for their clothes closet. We also bring a pouch friendly (low or no sugar, fat and carbs) dish to pass.  Bring the recipe too so we can share.  We have some wonderful cooks in the group and I always walk away with a few new recipes. There are just a couple rules to help make the experience enjoyable for all. Please make sure the clothes you bring are in good repair, clean and without stains. Post-op folks are going through clothes like water so they are given 15 minutes to shop before everyone else. They are the reason for the exchanges after all.

There will be several posts about it when it gets closer but if you have any more questions don't hestitate to ask. Hope to see you there.

Brenda

Thanks Robin for being willing to host another exchange.  I really enjoyed the last one very much!  I know you'll be post op by the next one, so remind me that you need some help with set up ect.  As far as I know now, I should be able to come a little early and help with that, but I'm notorious for my poor memory.  So don't hesitate to send me a pm or e-mail or even give me a call (I'm on the directory).
