Clothes Closet will be open this Saturday

I just wanted to let everyone know that our churches Clothes Closet will be open. We have Clothes from the last two Exchanges along with the clothes we already had.

 This Saturday  

April 19th

11:00am- 2:00pm

Indianapolis, IN 46231 

 

All are welcome to come it is just like a yard sale but everything is free. If you missed out on the last exchange this my be a good time to get some new clothes.

Robin, I know our exchanges are adult clothes only, but do you guys stock & give away kids clothes too? If so, I may be bringing some with me to the next exchange for you to put back for your Clothes Closet...afterall, kids need clothes too. I was asked to ask you if with the food drive/food cuppbord ( I don't know what you call it when you give away the food ....?) ..do you require proof of income, ID, etc..? What is the procedure for that? Thanks.. Sherri

We started with just clothes so any type children all the way to adult. We are also getting in everyday household things and toys. So I guess we are starting to except anything except furniture for right now.

 As far as the food. State law requires us to ask for ID but that is it. You sign a piece of paper with your name and address and I check off that you showed me an ID and that is it.

 I really didn't feel led to open the food pantry up this saturday but if anyone shows up asking for food I would not turn them away unless we just didn't have any.

Corner of Bridgeport and Morris on the west side of Indy. Sorry probably nobody will be in the church office during this and I don't have a cell phone. If you go to google maps it will give you directions from where you are coming from.
