good luck with your surgery!
hope this finds everyone else well.
i'm doing battle with the cell phone company because i'm talking to a moron and just had to ask for his supervisor. apparently what i was told AN HOUR AGO is no longer true. i hate stupid people. i qualified for this credit at 10:30 why do i no longer qualify for it at 11:30? grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
and yes, it's nearing lunch time, and i can tell. i need protein or i'm going to bite this guy's head off. granted, i don't think i could put more than half of an ear in my pouch though. oh wait. i'm off hold and miracle of miracles i qualify for that rebate again. surprise. oh yeah. need protein or an empty room in which to yell a hundred different obsenities.
Hi Everyone,
Good luck today Shanna. I know you are in surgery right now, but eventually you will see this. Just know I'm thinking of you.
I hope everyone else is having a good day. Mine is a little quieter now. We've been working on financial statements for the quarter and it has been very busy around here, but we are just about done.
I had my one year labs drawn a couple of weeks ago and just heard the results: everything looks good except my Vitamin D. It was a little high. Although I wasn't taking D specifically, it was in the Creamy Bites I was using for calcium and it's in my multi-vitamins. I've recently switched over to UpCal powder for my calcium and it doesn't have D in it so it will probably all level out. I haven't heard yet if they want to re-test again in a few weeks. I'll be double checking with them if I don't hear one way or the other.
Tomorrow my son has to go in for dental surgery. He has an incisor that fell over and is growing into the roots of his other teeth. The orthodontist has been moving his teeth around to make room for it and now he has to go have it exposed (cut the gum and lay it back
) so they can put a bracket on it and attach it to the rest of his braces and gradually move it into place. Needless to say he is not looking forward to it. However a steady diet of pudding and other soft favorites sounds appealing to him!
He is going on 14, but still kind of a baby when it comes to pain. Thank goodness the surgeon said they would give him some Rx pain meds. I'm hoping he will be able to sleep most of the next couple of days away. By that time it shouldn't be nearly as tender. Missing school is a pain though. We couldn't schedule this for spring break because the Orthodontist was taking that week off and he wanted to see Brian the same day as surgery. Then he caught a stomach bug and missed the first 3 days of school after spring break and now he'll be off for two more. Brian isn't the most dedicated student, so I'm really hoping he doesn't let this ruin his grades. We've always had to fight him over doing and/or turning in his homework and I put him on his own this quarter. I told him it was his responsibility and he would either sink or swim on his own. It is hard to let go, but I think that is the only way I'm going to get him to accept responsibility for his actions (or the lack thereof!).
Well, I'd better get back to work. I hope those who have been unwell (Jacqui, Jodi & Ellen) are feeling better and everyone else has a great day!
