WHOA!!!  We just had another one.  I guess it was an after shock but this one was HUGE!  I heard it first again then the shaking started again. What a day! Jacqui Adding that I just found out the after shock was pretty big.  It was 4.5 and my parent's satellite dish was knocked off the house!  My Mom is freaking out!

I guess Im a few days late in posting but I was in Richmond since Thurs night.  I was at work the morning of the fiirst one and felt it...It woke up most of our patients.  Then the afternoon one I was asleep and it woke me up.

My parents in Ohio even felt them.  Hope everyone is safe and no one had any problems from this.  We have a few cracks in the house that seem to be bigger but nothing broke...Everyone I know is safe.

PS.  A friend / Coworker of mine was diagnosed 2 weeks ago with Cancer...in its final stages before he even knew what was wrong.  Hes a wonderful person and he and his family could use prayer.  Hes a very loving/caring man who adopted his two children and is very wonderful with our patients....and it really sucks when a good person is taken from us way to young.  Hes in Reid Hospital and I know he would love your prayers.  I visited with him yesterday and hes not doing well but is very accepting of whats ahead for him...just doesnt want to be in alot of pain as he passes....told me he didnt expect to live more than 2 weeks even though his dr said it could be as long as 2 months.

We just had another one about 11:20.  My desk started vibrating against my leg and the blinds were moving.

I did!  I posted about it earlier.  It was a big one too...4.5 and my mom was freaking out when I called her!  I haven't noticed anything since then though.  Maybe it's settling down. Jacqui

i was up in bed last night reading (christ the lord out of egypt by anne rice...wonderful novel and i read it in 1 sitting of about 8 hours) when i felt the bed shake. i have 2 cats who are both declawed but like to sharpen their nonexistent claws on the bed frame/sofa/boxes etc. the shaking just didn't stop, and both cats were on the bed. totally freaky. i didn't know it was an actual real earthquake until a little while ago. lol, i get to join mom's club now. the last earthquake we had she was walking through the yard and fell down the hill on her tookus as the earth shook. we didn't believe her because we were on the cement porch, but we all apologized that night when we saw the news. :D

I didnt feel either one of them, lol. The first one I slept right through and the second one I was vacuuming Jodi's living room when that one happened, but got lots of calls saying did you feel that. I kinda felt left out. My son said he felt the second one in school and the kids were freaking out in class. Seems I miss all the action.

I slept through all of it except for the aftershock at 11:20. My husband and oldest son felt it. And to I moved back home from California to get away from the earthquakes. The last one I felt there, my children were little and sleeping in a bunkbed. All I could think about was getting them out. I couldn't even stand up and we were about 60 miles from the epicenter. It destroyed the freeway that my DH went to work on and it was supposed to be earthquake proof. I promptly told my DH that I am  moving back east. The quakes must have followed me.
