Getting Closer!!!

I went this week and had all of my pre-op testing done. It was all good!! I don't have a surgery date yet but I guess Dr. Mattar has his patients do pre-op testing before sending off for approval.  This week I have my final visit to the Nut and also get my Pschological testing done. If anyone can give me a heads up on what to expect with the Psych testing that would be great!!! I am assuming after this week then they will be ready to submit my paperwork to Anthem for approval. I have lost 10 of the 20 pounds they told be to lose on my April 4th visit. Not bad but it has been rough. I am wondering if they will make me lose the other 10lbs before they submit to insurance. Does anybody know?  Oh well....it is what it is and if I have to lose it then it will just be keep me more motivated. I hope you all have a great day!! Michele

Hi Michele, Dr Mattar is my surgeon.He is cairo right now and will be in and out of the office the next month or so. He is so awesome. I had my surgery on the 16th. i lost 62 pounds before surgery and was approved in 1 day with anthem ( as soon as they said they recieved the paperwork) It took me 3 days to get my surgery date and then they caalled me a week later and moved it up. Clarian is awesome and fast. I would totally reccomend them to anyone! No complications either, aside from the pain meds making me ill! Good luck shanna
