Drain Tube

I am scheduled to have lap rny on July 15, 2008. Dr. Inman is my surgeon. Will I be sent home with a drain tube when released from the hospital? Just wondering!!!!

Welcome!!! You have found the right place- we are here for you!I had a lap RUNY and didn't have one. It is differant with each Dr. but she usually doesn't do them, unless she feels it is really necessary.Good luck and keep posting! Thanks so much for answering my question. I had gathered from reading the posts that some doctors do and some don't so I thought I would ask about Dr. Inman in particular. Thanks again.
