Sunday, Beautiful Sunday!

Good morning all! Of course I am up early enough to start the thread this morning.  Hope everyone has a wonderful day today. It is going to be beautiful and bright here in the hills!  I have to work today, so I am going to miss out on the biggest part of it.  Oh well.   I am headed to the gym in a bit.  I didn't go after all yesterday, because by the time I got off work , I was really too tired.  I like going in the mornings anyway.  It just starts my day off right! Not much of anything else going on today, so have a wonderful day!  Enjoy!

Good morning everyone!              Well..the kids came over yesterday. Jay worked his butt off fixing up the flowerbed areas. Tiffany did on our built-in back porch. It has 9 windows..so 18 cutain panels in it. I took down all the curtains, washed & dried them, and then rehung them while Tiff was washing the walls, windows, etc. It felt so good to be active yesterday...but I'm sure tired & achey today! LOL! I only had to take 1 pain pill yesterday and I think that was from the stretching to take down the curtains. My bowels had me up 3 times during the night so I'm sleepy on top of that today. I wish I wasn't! Tiff & Jay are going to be back here in ~an hour. I wish I felt as good as I did yesterday. I will probably try to still do 'some' stuff..but I doubt if I do as much as I did yesterday. One thing I'll be doing is getting some Miracle Grow into those flowerbeds so I can get the soil conditioned for my herb & veggie starts. I'm hoping that we'll be past the threat of frosts by next weekend. I know they use to say after 'Mother's Day'..which is the 2nd Sunday in May..so I may be jumping the gun by 1 week. I have an OUTDOOR green thumb though...I kill indoor plants! So I know these starts would be better off in Mother Nature's hands than mine.                     Well..time for my morning shower! Maybe I'll feel better then. It sure wouldn't hurt!                Sherri

Good Morning All, I did something I have wanted to do for a while,I finish updating my profile. It was hard reading my notes from my journal. I have it in 2 parts with a few post in between. So if you read you might have abetter understaning of me and my journey. I have also been reading other OH's profiles. I really don't have much plans today, hopefully I can get out for a walk, I just love sunshine   . I go see Dr Huse tomorrow at 3:30 so if any one has surgery I would love to stop in for a few.  Well as always I send healthy wishes for those in need. Love you all. Good morning, LaChelle and Sherri and all my other Loser friends. I hope that today is good to you all.  I am ready for church and had about an hour so that is why I am on here. Usually I good around on Sunday mornings and don't have time but for some reason today is different. I took a couple of Tylenol last night before going to bed because I had such a terrible headache. Once I got to sleep I slept like a baby. It felt good but didn't want to get up this morning either. I would have rather stayed in bed all huddled under the covers.  It looks like it is going to be a decent day today. I guess we are suppose to get some rain but I would rather have that than the nasty 4 letter S word. We all know what that is. They were talking about that a couple a days ago and thankfully it never came.  Misty is running around today like she had half her mind. I really think that she believes that I put that rug down in front of the sliding door for her amusement. She is burrowing her head under it and flipping it again this morning. Yesterday I got up and it was all messed up. I wish that I was that easily occupied as she is. She is a lot of fun to have around here. We treat her just like we did all of our dogs. She is one of our kids. In some ways she acts more like a dog than she does a cat too. Maybe she thinks she is a cog, that is a cross between a cat and a dog. Who knows what does go on in her head? They say that cats are mysterious and she most certainly is that! I finish up being Litergist this month at church. I also do the stewardship moment this morning too. I had to write that out. Now if I can get it out without crying I am going to do well. The other day when I wrote it I read it out loud and wanted to cry. I just feel so passionate about my church. I just want others to feel as passionate about it as I do. Next week I go back to being just a lady in the pew. I am glad about that. Later this summer I have to do the Dunes State Park church service. My church is in charge of a short Sunday service for the campers at the Dunes. They have about 40-45 people attend that every week. I volunteered to do it in August and now I am thinking that I am probably going to sweat like a bull moose. But then again maybe not this year. lol I am going to get my hair cut after church this morning. My girlfriends daughter usually does it but she is so busy anymore with work and school that I hate to ask her. I found a salon that does it alright and so I go there. I get it cut short (about 1 and half inches long) to cut out the natural curl. I got that from my dad. He had curly hair but always kept it cut in a flat top. He always said that he was going to get his ears lowered. I always thought that was odd but now as I am older I kind of like it. I am the same age now that he was when he passed. I was 15 so I missed out on a lot of things with him. That makes me sad even now.  I guess I better get going. I hope that you all have a blessed and safe Sunday. Although it's chilly out it's is still absolutely beautiful out there.

Yesterday Cindy P and her son came out. Cindy vaccumed for us and Gage and her son cleaned up the yard from trash and sticks/limbs and then Gage mowed. That yard sure did need some help. Friday night Dawn bought us pizza.... yummy. I haven't had pizza in so long. Even Ulisha showed up this week to walk the dogs, and while at the park got her daughters picture taken and it ended up being on the front page of the newspaper here in Crawfordsville. We sure do appreciate all the help
that everyone has given us in the past weeks. You have no idea how relieving it was to see the stress
dissappear from my mom's face. She was just so overwhelmed. We've enjoyed all the meals that have been sent to the house too. All very yummy. 
Thank you all. !!! Seriously.... Thank You Thank YOU Thank YOU! My family needed the help.

Today I'm venturing out to Shopia's in Greenwood to try on more wedding dresses and have my
bridesmaids find dresses. If we don't find nothing there then we'll venture back to David's Bridal.
My bridesmaids only have two weeks to order their dresses because of the alterations no matter
where we go, so we are on a time crunch. Fortunately for me I wear stock perfectly so I have till the middle of May to order mine. But I'm looking forward to have a girls day today and being silly and dressing up all fancy. If anyone is in the area and has nothing to do... stop on by. We'll be there from 12:15pm till whenever!!!!

Well off to the shower I go so I at least don't smell in them fancy dresses, hahahahahahahaha!

Good Morning, I didn't get to visit Robin yesterday. i am soo sorry. bella and I ran off to the Post office and then to walgreens and got home and had a phone call from work, they really needed me to come in. I had told them to call me if they needed me, I really need the money and felt up to it. I went in for 3.5 hours. whew was I exhausted. It felt good to get out though.. I can not stand to be at home. I need to work.  Then I came home and Gardened. I have a patch out in front where I have a huge electric metal big square box.We have big tall grass the neigbors planted that need cut so It can regrow and I bought at Walgreens big boxes of assylum and butterfly/birds mix to flower. I got them down. NO it better not freeze. I heard this morning it might lightly frezze tommorrow night. I might have to go out an cover. I used both boxes 125 sq feet in a 5 ft area. So I better have a Crap load of flowers growing this summer. LOL Work just called and they would like me to come in and make Dilly's/dq sandwhiches, novelties because they are out. SUre no problem! Super easy and makes time go fast and not hard work at all! I need to get Egg salad made for luch and then get ready for work. SHanna

Good mornin all Today is my bday and im hangin out with my family today the boys are like wheres the bday cake and i told them at the store.lol We went to subdivision sales yesterday and i love it so that was my adventure for my birthday.. My older son gave me money for clothes for my bday and ive not went to spend it yet dont know what to buy yet my shirts are to big and my bras,and i went from a size 12 shoe to a size 7..so i geuss ill wait for a bargain and spend it. I cant wait to get some flowers planted we got planter boxes 2 years ago and this year I am putting them up. Everyone have a good day and stay safe i gotta go pack more for my parents..funnnnnnnn

Happy Sunday everyone!! I made it to church this morning, and totally surprised everyone, including myself.  But it felt awesome to be there, surrounded by love and prayers.  Truly spiritual and just what I needed.  I took three sippies filled with watered down apple juice and all my mid morning meds, and it went just fine! It's a bit cool out and looking like it's going to rain soon, so I'm going to head out on another walk before it gets cold and rainy.  I'm determined to not get on the scale again til Wednesday, so I'm excited to see what this first week brings!
