Death By Dairy Queen

Everyone asks me...How do you work at Dairy Queen, simple I have for 3 years. Yuck I can't stand it, so not eating it is a 'PIECE OF CAKE"

Well tonight I am making a heath blizzard and a @#$#% piece of Heath flies into my mouth. I swear I couldn't make this stuff up. All I could do was kind of blow it out while I am making the blizzard and wipe off my mouth. The candy is THROWINg iTSELF AT ME. geesh! hAVE A GREAT NIGHT Shanna

The pc of candy I could have tolorated but the ice  cream would have made me ill!! I can eat  about 2 tablespoons of ice cream without getting sick!! Thank God!! I used to go to bed with a big bowl of the stuff now I just ignore it... grosses me out thinking of it... Linda Kay

Shanna, When I quit smoking, we owned a bar and I bartended on the weekends. People asked me the same thing. I think it made it less desireable for me being around it than more so! It was definately 'yuck! Get that thing out of my face!'. I guess the determination was the key! Sherri

That is just too funny, Shanna.  I couldn't imagine working at DQ.....I don't really care for the smells alone, so the food "throwing itself" at me would just have to be the last straw!  Have a wonderful day!

Who'da thought you need to wear a face mask to make Blizzards?? I worked at an ice cream shop in high school with my best friend, and within a month we were so sick of ice cream it was unreal.  I know what you mean about working around it and not even being tempted!!

Shanna, my niece manages a Dairy Queen around here and she says the same thing. She said that the thought of the stuff makes her sick. Here goes my analyzing thoughts-what was the true reason it flew in your mouth? Maybe it was to show you that you DON'T  need it. I think I could handle working there but I would like to decorate the cakes. That would be fun.

You crack me up.   I worked at McDonalds in high school and collage. I can eat it now, but the big macs still just gross me out for the most part!
