sagamore plus

can anyone give me any first hand info  on sag plus insurance?  they are my provider and im curious about their approval rate,and how long it takes to hear from them..its driving me nuts!!!.....ive only been waiting two weeks

In July 2007, I waited approx. 2 weeks to be denied.  Have you done 6 weeks dr. directed weight loss program?  That's one they are big on.  I had to do that, but I changed insurance since then.  I can't tell you if they would have approved me after that or not.  My new ins. co. (Anthem) approved me first time.

Thanks for the info.  i am just curious as to what the decision will be...i have heard mixed reviews on them...just nerves..ready to hear something.

I have the same insurance and when I completed the required stuff....it took 3 days for approval.  They have been pretty good so far.  I had surgery in Jan 08 and the bills have been coming in and the insurance has paid every time.  So I have no complaints with them.  I wish you much success.  Oh and by the way, it never bothered me to call and get updates from them and the Dr's office.  Every one was great.  They never seemed bothered by my calls..  If it has been a couple of weeks, I would definitely give them a call, there may be something else you need to do that is holding up the approval and they probably won't call you.
