I am finally home. Everything is good. I didn't have a drain put in. The surgery only took an hour. So I believe I was textbook.

Right now I am in alot of pain. For some reason walmart was having trouble filling it and had to contact my doctor. Ugh. I no pain medicene now for over 6 hours. But my husband just went to see if they have finally filled it yet. Wished I would have asked for another dose before I left but was thinking we could just pick it up on our way home.

Talk to you all later

Thanks to all the visitors and callers.

Thanks Ellen for being my angel you are so sweet.

Good for you Robin!  Glad you are home!  Hate it that you don't have that Liquid Loratab!!!!!   The need for it will soon go away.  I was off at the end of the first week.  Just don't like taking meds at all!   Take care!  Do your best to get the protein in!  Good Luck!

Robin, Congrats for having the hard part done..that huge walk into the OR! You might want to call the pharmacy and if they haven't filled it yet (or if they have and you haven't picked it up yet), have them add some flavoring to it like they do for kids. It is well worth the $2.99 they charge! Walgreens has a dozen or more of flavors to choose from...I'm sure WalMart probably does too. There is no sence in you having to gag that stuff down if you can help it. I stuck with basic Grape...it was strong enough to do the trick. I didn't have any problem at all with dumping with it. I don't think there is enough grams of sugar per serving to cause any problems.             Sherri

Robin, I am so glad that things are going well with the exception of the pain meds. The hard part is done and now it just keeps getting  better and better.

So glad you made it home!! I hope you're able to get that pain scrip filled ASAP.  I ended up with Percocet pills that I have to cut in fourths, but I'm allergic to Vicodin, so liquid Lortab wasn't an option.  Keep sipping and walking!!
