Life Insurance....

Of course, no on wanted to give it to us before.... BUT now that I am a healthy weight, I decided to apply.   Has anyone else????   Did you get approved???? I am not having a good feeling about this.  The nurse who took my blood, etc. said that she had worked with a man who did get denied for life insurance after having his RNY.  She said that is is about a 50/50 shot.  Just wondering if anyone else had tried. 

I applied and got it. I paid just a little more but was told it had to do with my history of blood clots. I originally purchased it from Travelers but my policy was sold to Met Life after about 2 years. I was limited to $50,000.00.

I have tried the last 2 years with my group life carrier.  I am maintaining at 185 lbs with no meds and still have been denied both times.  I have the maximum they will allow without a health screening but they will not approve anything more.  The group carrier I have is Met-Life.  Good luck!

I just increased my policy its through valley forge.  All they did was take my blood and I was approved no problem.  I have like half a million coverage.  It $78.00 every three months, term insurance.  I got it through a private insurance agency.
