More about you! 4 things.

ME TOO!  ME TOO! My name is Candy and I live in Kokomo.  (1)  I do not work right now.  I have a B.S. degree in Elementary Education, but never taught.  (2)  I'm married to George who works at Chrysler.  He and I met in college.  (3)  We have two boys:  Brad age 30 and Matthew age 27.  Neither of them are married.  Brad is the webdesigner for radio stations in Indy----WNDE; Q95; and X103.  He and his girlfriend of 6-1/2 yrs. plan on getting married....someday I hope.  Matthew is still going to college after sitting out and working for a few years.  Hopefully he won't be a professional student forever.  (4)  I like reading and working crossword puzzles and bowling on occasion.  (5)  I had a revision from a VBG (11 yrs. ago) to a RNY on Dec. 17th.  I no longer have diabetes, high cholesterol, high triglycerides or high blood pressure.  I've lost 48 lbs. and almost to my goal.  I weigh 150 and I only have 5 lbs. or so to go.  This is a really neat idea!!!!!! I'm Next!!!  ME ME ME!!! lol Here goes! 1) I am LaChelle.....I live in West Baden.  I have lived here 1 1/2 years.  I moved from Southern Illinois to work at the new casino at the French Lick Resort.  I love it, and the area and everyone here.  Talk about Hoosier Hospitality! Everyone has really made me feel at  home, and that is why I call Indiana home! 2)  Home for me originally is Western Kentucky.  I was  raised in a little town called LaCenter.......which is in Ballard County.  Also known as the "Goose Capital of the USA!" And also home to Monkeys Eyebrow, KY! I know goofy names.  I graduated high school 20 years ago, and will be attending my reunion at the end of July!  I wasn't this small when I was in high school, so they will all be surprised and in shock when they see me! I can't wait! 3) I am married to Jimmy and we have 2 beautiful daughters....Mariah and Molly. We met when he moved back home to live with his father, and started working at Harrah's Casino in Metropolis.  Our birthdays are only 4 days apart, and I am the older one! LOL  Talk about an interesting 4 days in October when he TRIES to remind me that I am older than he is!  We have been married 12 years.  Our daughters are 8 and almost 7.  They are 18 months and 9 days apart, but everyone thinks they are twins because they are the same size and look quite a bit alike.  Those girls are my every breath I take! They are my life! 4)  We have 3 indoor cats......Rowdy, Rascal, and Pumpkin.  They are spoiled rotten, and we wouldn't have it any other way.  We also help our neighbor take care of his farm cats.  He has 25 or so, we can't keep an official count, because for some reason they keep on having kittens! LOL   5)  I work as a dual rate dealer/floor supervisor for the casino.  I started in the casino industry over 15 years ago.  I love it.  The job is easy and fun.  Where else can you play games all day and get paid to do it!  I am also a chef.  Out of high school, I went to Culinary School, and got my degree.  I guess I figured that if I was going to be large, I may as well cook what I want to eat exactly HOW I wanted it to taste!  I love cooking, and still cook like I am feeding an army, even tho I am not able to eat near as much, and talk about a wonderful feeling!  In the past, I have done everything from selling cars to houses, and even worked as a telemarketer for a fundraiser!  I now know WHY people hate telemarketers!  I would love to become an elementary school teacher.........it has always been an idea of mine, and I have thought really hard about going back to school to do that.  I may still yet! 6) In my "SPARE"time, of which I rarely have any, I like to play cards and spend time on the computer.  Of course, my time on the pc is spent in here and visiting with everyone on the Indiana board!  You all rock! My name is Jean, however lots choose to call me Jeannie either one is fine with me.  I am married to Tom for 23 years.  I have a step daughter and a step son, a son from a previous marriage and a son with my husband.  Together we have 8 grandkids. We have one son who is 14 that still lives with us so we are not empyty nesters.   We recently moved to Martinsville IN from the  far east side of Indianapolis.  We really love our new house and enjoy being able to fish and swim here.  We have three little dogs and two cats who we adore.  One of my dogs is a hurricane Katrina survivor, she lived her life in a puppy mill and was surrendered when the hurricane was coming.  She is very special to me, she has been so mistreated in her life so I give her tons of love.  I love to sew in my spare time and have recently started to teach myself to quilt.  I volunteer at the humane society when I can.  I enjoying sewing for the animals at the humane society also.  I have enjoyed reading about everyone and look forward to becoming part of a great support group here on the Indiana board.
