OT: Victory
I just wanted everyone to know that I ran for Floyd County Council and this election was my first election where I ran for an office. There were six candidates including one incumbent and I was the top vote getter; voters were allowed to choose three candidates and three candidates will move on.
I can't believe it! This is my first election and I am getting more votes than the people that have been in it for years. Whoa!

Larry, I am so happy for you! I kept on seeing your name on the top of the list at the bottom of the screen on WAVE 3, and I kept on telling everyone, "I know him and if I lived in Floyd County, I sure would be voting for him!!!" I am so glad you won! You deserve it! Congratulations!
