O.k. so I got my packet of info and it says to up my protein before my operation to 60 grams a day, cut out sugars, and east low carb, up your water intake.  So I have been doing that and taking in at least 60 grams a day, mostly from low carb low cal drinks.  I steped on the scale today and I have gain 4 pounds!?!?!?!?! What the heck!!!!!!!!  I have been holding steady at my weight for a long time. Is this common?

Kim, It would make sense.  Your muscles are built and maintained by protein.  If you're increasing your portein, you may be increasing muscle mass some.  Muscle weighs more than fat.  I would think it's very normal, but I'm no expert.
