Last night I went to DQ with hubby and for the life of me I don't know why I ordered a hot fudge sundae. Tasted great but about 2 hours later I got very tired and went to bed. I hadn't been there long but woke up sweating profusely (literally dripping off of me). I was very shaky and disoriented. I ate some pb & crackers and drank some orange juice. That helped. Any opinions? It scared me to death. I don't EVER want to feel that way again. Lesson learned, say NO to DQ!

I feel for you!!  That happened to me the other night.  I use to get low sugar prior to the surgery and had "signs" that I may pass out.  Now I just pass out.  Straight onto the floor with absolutely no warning.  The last time was about two weeks ago after I ate white bread and mayo (sandwich with ham) which I never have since the operation.  I went to bed and woke up with the same sympoms you had a few hours later.  Needless to say I've learned to stay away from those things!  Its awful.  Keep track of foods you eat and then try to stay away.  Negative reinforcement is a good thing!!!
