Jamie is a Hoosier Loser !!!!
I just spoke to Jamie's husband, she is in her room. She just got there a little bit ago. I sent hugs and prayers from all her OH family. I told him to tell Jamie, I'll check on her tomorrow. He did say the nurses are going to get her up to walk in about 2 hours.
Do you remember your first time walking ? ANY neat stories out there, I would love to share them
My 1st time i had to use a walker and only got to 1 butterfly
and then got sick everywhere
Lets all keep Jamie in our prayers, she's a HOOSIER LOSER
Love to all, Hugs and Blessings, Gail

Gail,
Thank you for letting us know! My first walk wasn't near as eventful as yours! I remember it hurting like heck to get out of bed so once that I was? I didn't want to get back in it!! So...I did make the complete lap and then sat in the chair for an hour or so and then walked again. During that hour, I'd read magazines and work on Logic puzzles...ANYTHING to keep my mind off of my tummy aches & pains! And of course, I would sip, sip, sip that entire time as well! That ended up being my routine while there with the exception of the few hours I did sleep...I always sleep horrible in a hospital! Tell Jamie we're all thinking about her!
