I'm sooooo frustrated with my weight loss stuff. I've pretty much yo yo'ed the same 4 lbs for the past month and a half. It's driving me absolutely crazy. :( I've been drinking more water and I never really left the basics so I just don't understand it. I'm active regularly and everything else. What could be going on?????? I'm getting closer to 1000 calories a day still not completely there but close some days. Ugh this is so aggervating. :( I desperately want to be under 200 by time I go to Maryland in 19 days and that means I have to get 6 lbs or so off. I just feel sooo down and like I'm not going to get to goal because my weight loss is just NOT going anywhere. :( If anyone has any suggestions I'd greatly appreciate them because I'm at a loss. This has caused me to be sooo down lately.

big hugs babydoll....you are just in that stall period...just relax...the worrying will not help...your body has been thru so much...just like mine...and i was doing the same thing...i just stared losing again....climb off the scale...follow docs orders and you will soar! the weight comes off so rapidly at 1st...we tend to forget we didn't gain it over night so we can't lose it overnight.... i am right around the 100 lb loss mark too....so if you need a buddy i am here for ya...maybe we can tackle this together! big hugs Kim ps...my doc wants me under 600 calories....for max weightloss??? whats does your doc say???

My doc and dietitian want me getting no less than 1000 calories a day but closer to 1500. They said thats why my weight loss has been soo slow because I've been doing 5-600 calories a day and my body is in starvation mode.

Sometimes you body has to take a break.  Your brain needs to catch up with your body.  Your body has gotten smaller, but your brain doesn't know it yet.  So now is when your brain finds out.  Carol

Misty, Sometimes our body just doesn't listen to our mind. When they took out your G-Tube did your doctor tell you might gain weight for about a month. Mine doctor said maybe 5-7 lbs. I did gain I think a couple pounds. Sooooo, Try not to be to hard on  your self . And please make sure you eat, you want to lose those pounds in a healthy way. I bet your family will be proud of you. I see less of you every time I see you, hang in there, Love,Hugs & Blessings, Gail

Yes, Misty thats what Doctor Huse told me and my daughter. I go to my pcp tomorrow afternoon I'll ask too. I remember not losing for a few weeks and adding 2.7 pounds. I checked my journal. Hope this helps.  HUGS,LOVE & BLESSING, GAIL
