Friday-Friday!!!

Hi Everyone,  I can't believe I am the first one to post today- but gotta go to work and wanted to check in with everyone. I haven't been on lately- working seems to keep me busy & we have no internet abitilties there, so I end up checking in late. How have you all been? Anything new going on in your lives? I miss you all when I'm not on here. After spending 5 1/2 hrs. ast the Dentist yesturday, I am looking forward to the weekend! It is suppose to rain tomorrow, and I am going to the Noblesville Art fair with some  Red Hat GF  - rain or shine, I know we will have fun!!!! Another reason I want to have a nice smile- hee~hee! Oh, they said I wouldn't have "movie star white teeth"       but they will be greatly improved. I go next week to pick up my new bleaching tray, then in 2-3 weeks for the teeth pulling/temp. partials.  Robin, how are you doing? Hope each day finds you doing well, and getting your protien in. Rushing out the door for work, but wanted to say a quick hello! Hope everyone has a wonderful day! TTYL!

Good morning, Ellen. I think that we posted about Friday at just about the same time. You weren't here when I posted but you were when I got back to the screen. I guess two great minds run the same. lol The sun is shining so brightly. I am glad about that. They are suppose to be paving our street today. They were going to do it the other day but they stood around for almost 4 hours looking at the mud puddles from the rain during the night and then they said that it was wet and they couldn't do it. DUH!!!! I took one look at the puddles and knew that it was wet. Now there is no reason for it not to be done today. The sun is out and not a puddle in sight.  I am aching so badly today. I am here to tell all you young ones (OMG~my grandmother is in my mouth talking for me!!!!) that getting older isn't for whimps!! I am going to be 54 in about a week and a half and I know that I am not that old and I ache. I just can't wait, NOT, to get older!!!!  Just staying home today I think. I really don't want to go anywhere today. I am just going to stay home and get some things done around here since things stayed the same for a few days since I wasn't feeling well. While I wasn't feeling good nothing got done around here. Now that I am feeling a bit better I have to do something. Even if it just to pick up the bit of stuff sitting around here from yesterday. That would make me happy.  The trip to the doctor yesterday went pretty good. I am now 6 pounds lighter since the visit to him last month. I found out that one of my blood tests came back that I was dehydrated. He told me to make sure that I drink more since I am on the water pill for my kidney problems. I keep trying but sometimes I am not successful on that! I just can't seem to get enough water down since there just doesn't seem to be room in there for anything. His PA told me last month to switch from the waiting a half hour before and after meals for drinking to being able to eat 5 minutes before eating but waiting the half hour after the meal. She told me that would free almost and hour and half that I will be able to drink. That helps but it is still a challenge for me to get the water in.  I better get going. I have been going on and on for so long. Everyone is probably tired of my mouth and you are all thinking "My gosh, please shut up now!!!!" and I don't blame you one bit either. lol  I am keeping prayers being said for all and special ones going up for those who need them. I am sending love and hugs to all. Keep a smile on your face even when it is hard to do. Enjoy where you are planted and you will bloom like a beautiful flower!

Good morning! Ellen..I know you are going to look georgeous with that new smile!   Gail had a pcp appointment yesterday and she ended up having to go to the hospital! He had put her on lasix 2-4 weeks ago because her feet was swelling up...well, it did the job too well! She ended up dehydrated. They were keeping her overnight because she had a little bit of an infection too so they want to leave hydrated & pumped with anti-biotics. I'm sure she is going to be very disappointed today because we were going to go out for lunch. I'll probably stop by & see her on my way home. I'll tell her you said hi & were asking about her. She has her cell phone with her. Well..don't work too hard girlfriend! Sherri

Good morning all Sherri-Please tell Gail I am thinking of her and hope she gets well really soon.   Ellen-I hope your dental appts go well and you have a gorgeous smile. Nothing much going on with me today.  I did buy a new car last night. I had a mini van and was sick and tired of the gas so I bought a 2008 Honda Civic. This is the first brand new car I have owned. My payment went up a bit, so I am a little nervous about that. Guess we will just have to cut costs elsewhere.  But I love it, its burgundy and drives so smooth.   Hope you all have a great day.

Good Friday morning to all! Ellen have a nice day at work! Everyone else also have a blessed day! I am waiting on the dietician to e-mail or call me today so have to stay close the the computer and phone! I hope Gail is in better spirits today since she did have something physically wrong and it is being taken care of. I was worried about her and thank GOD she is on her way  to feeling better. Sherri tell her hello for me and that I will be thinking about her today and saying little prayers for her.   SO YA'LL HAVE A GREAT DAY!! Michelle
