Welcome to the losers bench. Gail is wonderful. I just read that she was in the hospital due to being dehydrated so keep her in your prayers. That drain tube is the pits.  I ended up having to take mine out early cause it was causing pain in my chest from the inside tube floating around in my chest area..it hurt! The docs office gave me instructions on how to take it out. So if you are being bugged by it too much call your docs office, they may instruct you on how to take it out. Just work on getting yourself on a schedule with  your vitamins, protein, water, calcium, etc.  It will take some time to get into a routine, but you will find a way that works for you.  Hope you get to feeling better real soon.

Welcome to the losers bench Jamie!!! So glad you are home and doing well...hopefully you'll get that drain tube out soon.  I never had one while I was awake, but I had one after my last c section, and they are not fun.   Keep us posted, and if you need anything let me know! Amy

Jamie it is great that you didn't have to go back to surgery! That drain tube is not as much a pain as it is when it is removed so have alot of gauze to put over it. The fact that I got soaked after it can out was kinda gross! I am glad that all has worked out so far! Have a great day! Michelle J.

Jamie, Welcome home. I'm glad everythign went well for the most part. Those pesky little drain tubes can be a royal pain but it is better for the fluid to drain out than stay in. Hopefully, you'll get yours out soon. My last one (for the hernia repair) just kept draining & draining. I was beginning to think that sucker would never slow down! LOL! It is amazing how much better you feel without that foriegn piece of plastic in you. When I talk to Gail, I'll let her know you're home. I know that will perk her up! She should be out today herself. Her pcp had her on lasix (swollen feet...thought she was retaining water). It worked so well that although she was constantly drinking water, she got dehydrated. She also had a little bit of an infection happening that the hospital caught so they kept her overnight just to get fluids & antibiotics in her. She should be home sometime today. Sherri

Jamie, welcome home and to the losers bench too.  Gail is the most wonderful woman. I have never got to meet her but she is a angel as far as I am concerned. She helps whenever it is needed and is always there for everyone. I am keeping her in my prayers since she is a bit under the weather now.  Sending you love and hugs.
