POTASSIUM PROBLEMS
I think that it would be a good idea to talk to your doctor about these problems. You probably need to have some blood work drawn to see the potassium results. I know that wls can cause kidney and gall stones because the body chemistry changes. So I would hope that you see your doctor about this. Best of luck to you. Please keep us posted on how things work out.
I just had my surgery and when they were getting ready to discharge me my potassium had dropped to "3' which they said was much too low to release me. (It was borderline the day of surgery and then when they checked in after my first night). They had me drink 2 doses of potassium before they would release me from the hospital. However, they did not redraw blood work to check my levels prior to my leaving.
Good Luck.
