Good morning everyone!                     We get to go pick up our RV this morning. She's been in the shop. Fortunately, everything was pretty minor & it only came to ~$210. That's pretty minor when the service labor fees were $110/hour. It'll be good to have her back home. We are talking about going to Indiana Beach in June. Anyone else care to join us? Bill said he'd call the camp ground and see if we can get sites reserved together. If interested, let me know what weekend would work out best for you...ok? That is about the only amusement park that would be ok for me this year with my belly still so tender. There's still plenty there for me to do to feel like I enjoyed myself.                 I talked with Gail last night. That girl still hadn't gotten any sleep! I feel for her because I'm that way too whenever I'm in a hospital or a strange bed. Shoot..I can be that way here at home! Anyway, I had dropped by her house on my way home after work yesterday. I had some dried apples & stuff to give her but I had also printed off yesterdays daily threads and the 'Gail Update' thread. I gave all of this to Michelle, Gail's daughter. She brought them to Gail. Gail was so touched by everyone's outpouring of concern for her. When she called me last night, she told me this.... I reminded her how very special she is to us. Sometimes, it's just very good to see it in black & white. Gail will either be posting today (if/when she gets out) or will be giving me a call afterwhile. Because of how tired she is, she does prefer right now if people would go through this board or email/call me to get messages to her. Usually when Gail calls me, we literally talk for AT LEAST an hour each time. Shoot, we always find silly stuff to talk about. Each of the calls yesterday though weren't even 5 minutes. For anyone who has ever talked with Gail, you'd know that for her to get off the phone that fast, either she thought you weren't at your best..or she wasn't...and she knows that I'm good to go talking right now. Please continue to keep her in your thoughts & prayers. E-carders...now would be a good time to drop her one. Just to let her know you're thinking about her. She won't get it until she gets out, but it will still perk her up then too!                            Well..you all have a terrific day today. I don't think it's suppose to rain and it's suppose to be in the 70's...so a pretty nice day! Enjoy it!!                          Sherri

Good morning all. Sherri, thanks for the Gail update. She is a special caring lady, but you are too. I do believe this will be a nice sunny day and hope to get the rest of yard work done. Yesterday when weeding, found a momma duck sitting on a nest made with my mulch, she was hidden in my shrubs.  Going to leave her alone for a while til ducklings are here, then I hope they waddle over to the pond. Everyone have a great day.  Sending a big ole hug to Gail and to the rest of our OH family....DEB

I am glad to hear that Gail is on the mend and maybe coming home today! HAPPY SATURDAY TO ALL!  I was in hopes that we could have 2 nice days back to back but I guess not. The sun looked so good yesterday! I was wishing for more. It has rained down here in French Lick that the Lost River has been found again and if there is much more rain we will never get to go fishing. There are ulturnatives though! Well here is to your Saturday! and may it be a good/special 1! Michelle J.

Good Saturday morning everyone!!  Its great to hear Gail is one the mend, I will continue to pray for her.  Speaking of the duck we had a pair of canadian geese sitting on a nest at our fishing spot this year.  They are very protective and wouldnt let us fish, the babies are finally born and the geese have moved on now.  I have two of my granddaughters for the weekend, we made a fire for them and let them roast marshmellows last night.  Not sure what our plans will be today, I may take them yard selling cause it will be yard sales or walmart anyway so may as well save some money.  I got the nerve up yesterday to call my insurance company to see if they had made a decision...not yet.  I can tell you the waiting darn near has me numb from being an emotional wreck.  They said up to 15 days and then 30 days to get it in writing so next Friday it will be 14 working days so I will call them again.  I kept reading where everyone seemed to be approved with UHC in just a couple days so I was hoping that would be the case for me.   Jeannie

Hi Everyone,  I agree with Michelle.  I could go for more days of sunshine.  I am 2 days out from surgery.  I'm doing pretty well.  My pain is under control.  Hopefully I'm going home today.  I hope Gail is doing well.  I completely understand not sleeping in a strange bed.  Everyone have a great day.  Carol

Carol,  I'm so happy that you're doing well!  Welcome to the Loser's Bench!!  Sherri, please let Gail know that I'm keeping her in my prayers.  She is such a great person and so helpful to everyone!  Today, I hope to get the yard mowed...have 3 acres to do!  It always gives me a chance to work on my tan.  One thing I have noticed is that my butt is soooo sore after riding the mower.  It never used to hurt, but I guess that's what losing 90 pounds wil do!!!

I always said "pigs would fly" before they approved my surgery.  Guess what??? The pigs are flying!!!!

Good morning all.....Sherri, please give Gail my love again this morning.  I know that she will be feeling better really soon.  Getting out of the hospital in itself will make a person feel much better as well. Michelle, yes, I am ready for this rain to stop here.  What a way for you to spend your time here in French Lick! LOLCall me sometime tomorrow, and we will try to get together.  We are going to church in the morning, but after that, we have the afternoon free. Not much going on today except I am getting ready to go to the gym, and then to work.  It is supposed to be a pretty nice day here today, with just a slight chance of rain, so hopefully that will bring the people out today.  I know there is supposed to be a fishing tournament on Patoka lake, but I don't know much about that at all.  Hopefully it will stay nice for them as well. Hope to be able to get on here more often now that school is almost over with.  The girls have only 4 more days, then 1 1/2 weeks at home until they are gone for the whole summer.  I will be so lost without them, but it is the time they need to spend with their grandmother and great-grandmother.  I know they enjoy it as well. Gotta run. Talk to you all later!
At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!

Good morning, Sherri and all my other Hoosier Losers. I hope that today brings good things to everyone. The sun is shining here so brightly. I think it is a bit nippy but Bill thinks it is wonderful and he has the patio door open. I know that it will warm up some and I will be waiting for that to happen. lol We have our great nieces 5th birthday party this afternoon. They are having a cook out and then a fire so it is going to be a nice evening I am thinking. I got Karissa a couple of summer outfits and the one thing that she will just love~a super bubble gun with lots of refills! Those are one the hottest things around here this summer. All you have to do is put your finger on the trigger and the bubbles come out like gang busters. Bill saw the thing the other day and asked who that was for. I told him Karissa and he got this look on his face. I think that he wanted to play with it. lol Bill is going to put the bricks out past the patio and put his new grill on them. That way it is going to give us more patio space. This grill is ALOT bigger than the one he had so he needs to do something or we aren't going to be able to sit on the patio and enjoy it. Or maybe I should say he wouldn't enjoy it since I am in my swing most of the time. lol They were suppose to pave our street yesterday and they didn't do it. They did a couple other streets but for some reason they stopped at ours. Now they are going to fini**** on Wednesday and so we are going to have to park the cars somewhere else again for a couple of days again. I don't mind doing it but I don't like the cars being down the road and not being able to see them since there has been a couple of cars stolen from here before. One time it was just down at the other end of the road. I like it better when it sits in front and I can see them out the bedroom window.  Misty is looking out on her back 40 acres again. She loves to look out but mostly when the door is open. The rug is upset and topsey turvey again so she has been playing with that again too. I wonder what she did before I got the rug for in front of the sliding door. lol What ever did she play with then? I better get going. I have been bending everyones ears for too long. Have a wonderful and safe day and I am saying prayers for everyone and special ones for Gail and everyone else who needs them. Love and hugs to all.
