It's Thursday!!!

Here it is Thursday already, fellow Hoosiers!!!! What is going on in everyones life today? Talk amongst yourselves while nose in and do some reading about what went on last night in Hoosier Loser land.  Love and hugs to all and prayers for a wonderful day!

Good morning, Brenda.  Busy busy day here in the hills today.  Today is the last day of school for the girls.  They are so excited!  I can't blame them either.  I was always the same way. I have to take my car back to the shop this morning.  They found out the trouble with the goofy thing.  It kept on overheating so we had a new thermostat put on a few weeks ago.  It was ok for a few weeks, then all of a sudden it started the overheating again.  They checked it out again yesterday, and found that there is a crack in the radiator section.  UGGGGGGGH!!!!!!  So, now it will cost us almost $150 (which we don't have by the way) to get the car going again.  If it isn't one thing, its another.  When it rains, it sure does pour! I have to work all day today, and then I am headed to the gym.  I went last night after work, and then had my health wellness check up!!!  The nurse that did my checkup was so shocked at my before and after picture that I carry in my purse.  She said that wasn't me, and that there was NO WAY I could have looked like that last year!!!  Talk about a great feeling!  They all were so proud of the difference in my health in the amount of time then!  All of my blood levels were absolutely perfect!!!  My cholesterol is the best out of everyone at work!!!  Talk about a smile on my face then!!!  They were really happy with the results!  I had to say that I was as well! LOL Time to get ready and head to the shop before I go to work.  I am going to walk to work from the garage.....it is only 4 blocks, so it will be a nice walk!  Time to get going.  Have a wonderful day! Morning All!  Just thought I would pop on and say hello.  Things are still quiet here at work.  Yesterday was the last day of school for my kids and they've already started the "I'm bored, we never do anything!" rant.                    My youngest had a fit because she couldn't go spend the night at a friend's house.  We tried to explain that just because she was out of school didn't me we parents were out of work, but try talking to a 7 year old.  So we sent her to bed instead!                 Normally she is easier to get a long with, but I think this is the first year she has truely had an understanding of the difference between being "in school" and "out of school".  Plus since her brother is 6 1/2 years older than her, she is really noticing how much more he gets to do than she does.  And, of course, it doesn't matter to her that he is so much older ~ she thinks she is just as big as he is!  Oh well, they will settle down into a routine soon enough.                    I hope everyone has a great day.  All you newbies just remember to keep drinking and working on your protein (I swear it gets easier!).  To all the pre-ops out there, keep working toward your goal.  And to those of you in need (prayers, etc) remember we are all just a post away.

Good morning, all. I hope that today promises to be wonderful day for all. The sun is shinning and it is such a bright and beautiful spring day. It seems like it is a *****illy but it is only a quarter to seven and so there is time for it to warm up. I guess it is suppose to get warmer and warmer until it gets into the 80's. I do not mind that if it isn't humid but let's face facts~most of the time humidity follows on the coat tails of heat around here in good old Indiana! I just can't do the humidity because of the heart problem and the asthma. My heart doctor told me one time that if it cold to stay home and if it hot to stay home. I told him that he must not want me to go anywhere ever. In Indiana it is either cold or hot and not much inbetween. lol Bill is working days today. He got a call and his boss is home sick with the flu and needed him to work this morning instead of this afternoon. He went but was not a happy camper this morning. lol I don't have anything planned today and so that is good. I am planning on staying home and doing some things around here. I am not sure what is going to get done but I hope that something does. lol At this moment nothing seems to be so important to me that I NEED to do it. lol Gas went up here again. It is now over $4 a gallon. I pray that something soon breaks because people aren't going to be able to do this for much longer. I worry so about people who are worse off than I am. How in the world are they going to do it? What are people with children going to do? Everything seems to be going up except paychecks. I fear in my heart of hearts that it is going to get a lot worse than it is before it gets better. I believe that this country needs a lot of prayers.  I woke up with a headache this morning. I thought that other day that it might be sinus but I don't think so. Not sure what is going on my head but if you asked Bill I am sure that he would tell anyone who listens that it isn't normal and probably never will be.  I hope that everyone has a special day today. I am sending my love and big hugs to all. Prayers are being said for everyone, and special ones for those who need them. Have a wonderful and sunny day today.

Just a hint.. when ever I get a headache... I start drinking MORE water.. dehydration on me shows up with a headache..Linda Kay

Thanks, Linda. I should have thought of that since I was dehydrated last week and I had a major headache with that too. Sometimes my brain must be jogged. lol

Not a problem... I just remember that dehydration headache was a bad one... one that asprin just wouldnt touch.. THANK God .. now I dont even ask I just start drinking more when I have a headache...and I am 3 years out.. I should know better!! Linda Kay

Good morning!! I just woke up started hubbys coffee jumped on here and will be getting dressed in a few minutes.. (after swallowing a handful of vitamins) and going garage saleing!! Just a few on the road worth looking into.. To everyone... BE WELL Sip the water.. and do not get dehydrated!!! With the warmer weather we will dry out sooner... a good sign is a dry tounge...Life is sweet... especially now that we have a grasp on it... so avoid sugar... Dumping is no way to spend the day!!! Good Morning/Day Everyone,

Not much going on here. Working on flowers for the men and mother's for the wedding. My sister and her biological mom did cookie cake samples yesterday, so Matt and I stopped by and picked out our designs. Doing some spring cleaning around the house and trying to work on that garage so I can possibly have a garage sale next month and make some money for the wedding. FYI - If anyone knows of someone that needs a washer dryer, I have stackable for sale. 3/4 load dryer and full load washer (computer programmable- just press start and clothing type ie: whites or colored and it weighs it's own size and picks small/med/large as the load, it also sings a song when in the load is done so cute!). Comes with all alternative attachements (that's hoses to use it conventially or attach to a sink facuet). Extra brand new filters for the washer and extra set of wheeled casters if you'd like to put them on the dryer. Just drop me a line if anyone is interested or knows of someone interested. We have so much in the garage for a garage sale since combining my household and my mothers two years ago - so she agreed we'd could clean it out and sell everything to help with the wedding costs.

Jodi, My oldest daughter has been living with us this past year and is going to move into her own apartment in July. I know there is a closet there set up for a stackable washer and dryer. If you could please email me at  [email protected] and let me what you are wanting for it and I will let her know.  It is so good to see you posting regularly! :o) I have been holding you in my prayers and felt so bad when you were having it so bad thru treatment.
