It's Thursday!!!

Good morning all! Nothing much going on with me today. Today is the girls first day out of school. It was so nice to just get up and not have to fight with them to get up. I just left them in bed and went on my way.  So nice when kids are at the age you can leave them at home. I am looking forward to the weekend. I decided to give myself a day off and not come in on Monday. It is my weekend so I do have to work Sat. but for only 8 hrs. I have someone coming in to work the rest of my 12 hr. shift so I can go to a graduation open house.  Monday we will be going to a car show. I hope it gets warm out today, I am ready for some warmth.  Losing my insulation, I just freeze all the time. Hope that everyone that isnt feeling 100% gets to feeling better. Hello all....I hope everyone is doing well.  I am sick!!  Cannot keep warm, severe headache, every inch of my body hurts, and have spent way to much time in the bathroom....  Just want to crawl in bed and croak!!!!  The only possibly good thing to come of it would be for the scale to drop....I think at this point I would rather have a slight gain than be sick.....Called DH to bring me home some diet 7-up....making hot tea now, but feeling like nothing will stay down. Off to lie down and see if I can make it through the afternoon..... Love to all, Holly

Hey all! It's been a busy day for me so far. I started off with a short night...up SEVERAL times going potty! Grrrrr! I envy those of you who have diarrhea for a week or less! Eight months is WAY to long!! Anyway, at 4, I gave up and stayed up. I'm really impressed with how not-tired I am so far! I think it's because of how much I'm enjoying this CPU project. My boss is afraid I'll look for a job in IT instead of staying in the lab. lol. It's a thought!                  Well..back at it. You guys have a good day!              Sherri

I had diarrhea for about 20 years.. since I had my hysterectmy until I had my bariatric surgery... Felt good having a normal one after so long....So I honestly do know how it feels... there was nothing medically wrong they said..they thought it more IBS but 3 or 4 times a day... at least It waited until I was ready to go.. I didnt have to go on demand.. Linda Kay

Shoot...I'd be happy with 3-4 times a day! It's VERY 'on demand' and usually, it wakes me up 3-4 times a night ...it's closer to 12-20 times total for a 24 hour period..every day..every night. I afraid to pass gas! They definately believe there is something medically wrong..they are just trying to figure out what. It sounds like really that my symptoms are pointing to more than one thing. Oh well, something more is being done now to find out what so that's a good thing! There is a rainbow at the end of this. Sherri

  Hi Everyone, Just checking in with you all, before going to the Drs. for B12 & then shopping ofr the weekend.I am soooo excited our daughter/sil are coming!!!! Can you see me doing the happy dance hee~hee!!!! The downside is I have to work till 4 tomorrow, so it cuts our visit short.We will spend out time over at Penny & Mike's mostly, since they are moving to Sheridan.  I have been watching the weather and it looks like we are going ot have a GREAT weekend - what are your plans?! We are going to be spending it hanging out together, and I am trying to get the house ready for the Grad.     party next Sat. I want to hold it outdoors mostly, so I am praying it is dry & warm!We got him a big Mechanics tools set, since he is going to school for that & has a job already, working part-time. Happy Thursday!! The sun is shining, and I'm eating actual FOOD today! Woohoo....it's made a huge difference in my outlook....I'm sure I'll get antsy again towards the end of month two, but just being able to chew things is making me smile.  For breakfast I made a scrambled egg, giving myself one ounce and my husband the rest, then took an ounce off a banana and gave him the rest.  Heehee.  Lunch was an ounce of tuna with a smidge of low fat mayo and pickle relish, and an ounce of steamed broccoli.  Yummy!!! Even got in an hour of exercise this morning, did laundry and picked up the house a bit, so I know I'm feeling better. Getting ready to clean up from lunch and head to work.  I only work one afternoon a week as a church secretary and the girls go with me, so that's nice.  Emily had her preschool graduation last night, and lost her first tooth yesterday at the dentist!! Lots of changes for her.  She'll start kindergarten in August, and then Molly will start preschool.   Speaking of changes, my husband got another job, and he'll start June 2 as an Orkin technician.  The route is in Logansport and Peru, but he'll pick up their truck here in Kokomo, which is nice...not too much driving on our gas then.  His last day at his current job is tomorrow, so he'll have next week home with us! He hasn't had any time off since last summer, so we definitely needed a week as a family.  He'll even be able to go with me to my first post op appointment next week. Better get moving....keep tha****er intake steady! I had a horrible headache last night and I know it's because I didn't get all my water in yesterday!
