HI every one, first i just wanted to say sorry I haven't been on here for a while, just have had some emotional issues, then the water heater went out and I was with out ho****er for a week before I could find a way to financially to fix it, so just been a little stressed around here for me. My question is, I have been extremely sick since tuesday. High fevers, chills (so bad I kinda looked like i was having siezures although I wasn't), passing out, back pain, couldn't pee much and when I did it hurt. So my thought was the bladder infection, which the dr said the same thing, but she put me on cipro until they found out actally what the pathegeon was that was causing it. Well I started those on thursday. They make me really sick to my stomach which doesn't help my eating cuz I had already not really ate much at all. I'm still having the high fevers this morning I woke up at 4 am and it was 103.3 the highest it has ever been so far. So my question is does it take longer for the antibiotics to work for us or should I should suck it up and go back to the doctor and say hey this isn't working. I will say it doesnt hurt to pee any more but i still go quite often but I drink so much water that I feel like i'm floating around. I pretty much sleep all but maybe 6 hours out of the day and well with 3 kids that just doesn't go over so well. Thanks for any advice.

My own personal opinion is that you should check with the doctor. Sometimes antibiotics stop working for people and then sometimes they just plain don't work every time. I have that problem with the Z packs. They just don't work for me anymore. I think you should let the doctor know and maybe they might order you something else. I sure hope that you start feeling better and my prayers and love are with you. I am saying special prayers for you right now.

Ulisha, I make a habit of asking for any meds to be in tablet or liquid form. I just don't think capsules break down right for me. How could they? They don't dissolve in water so why should they in our acid-free pouches?     Sherri

Thanks girls, I think i'm gonna go to the after care clinic if i dont feel any better at all by tomorrow they are are open from 12 to 3. They are in tablet form, it was the first thing that I made sure of when she told me that she was giving me them. I actually asked if I could get it in liquid form but she said that it didnt come in that and I told her not to give me one in capsule form. I'm very seldom sick enough to be on antibiotics so I really dont know much about them.
