SUNDAY
Good morning everyone!
For those not so new on the board..got some exciting news (for me anyway!). I slept in our bed last night!! Woo-hoo! EIGHT MONTHS to the day! My belly survived it just fine but man, my back isn't too happy this morning. It has to get re-acclimated to a waterbed. It was wonderful to be able to sleep with my husband again though!!
I'll be finishing up the Pampered Chef orders today/tomorrow so if you wanted to order, please get your orders to me. My email addy is [email protected]. I had the consultant's email addy in another thread if you'd prefer to send her your order direct (just don't forget to include my name in your email..k?). If you sent it to Joanne, please let me know that you did and the amount of the product ordered (before taxes & S&H).
Emil...I don't know if you went into lurkdom or what but I miss seeing you on here bud!
Angie....hey sweetheart, you said a few weeks ago that you were gonna be on here more...so where ya at babe? I'm looking forward to seeing you & ED!
Ellen...how's this weekend going? Isn't this the big graduation weekend?
Gail..how ya doing this morning hon? Did you get rid of all the party poopers that was enjoying your 'party' a little too well? let me know when you feel up to lunch..k? Remember though that I'm off tomorrow..k?
Brenda & Floyd....as always, wonderful to see you guys!
Linda V...how's things going? Is Mikey doing okay now? How is Mike enjoying Sears? How's your daughter doing?
You know...this board gains so much from each and every one of you. All of the further out post-ops bring an insight to what it takes to be successful after the honeymoon stage is over. Those going through the honeymoon stage (1 yr or less) brings the excitement..and yes, renewed determination for us further out. The newbies bring out the questions that many of us totally had forgotten about but can completely relate to. And the pre-ops remind us of how big of a step this is/was when they express their doubts, concerns, and questions. Yes...we all have something to gain from each person out there. So folks, don't forget to post. We NEED your posts! We NEED YOU!
This Memorial Day, let's keep in mind WLS (weight loss surgery) family members who have passed away. They helped pave the road to make it an easier path for us to follow. For many, it was not that they had WLS that caused their death..it was that they didn't have it soon enough..before all the damage was caused to their organs from the obesity they suffered with. That touched us very personally a few years ago with the death of Mary. Tomorrow, I will be keeping Miss Mary Brown in my thoughts. Perhaps because of her, her cardiologist and/or family doctor might will recommend WLS to the next patient a little sooner than it was recommended to her....before losing weight is a requirement to have a life-saving heart transplant. She was doing so good at losing weight..but by then, her poor heart had already been through so much. Mary's spirit will continue to live in each of us who knew her though.
I hope those who enjoy the 500 have a good & safe time! Best wishes to each of the drivers! Have a super day today! Sherri

Sherri, I really appreciate your thinking of me. How funny that I was posting at the same time! Mike's doing Sears okay. I don't think it's his all-time favorite job, but it helps pay the bills, and he's willing to do that for his family. Just one of the reasons I love him. Mikey's doing pretty well since coming home. I think it did help him to be there. I'm glad to have him home though. Maggie's a little trooper. She is such a good child. She's watching Mr. Men cartoons right now. She's excited about getting back into dance lessons next fall.
Good morning! I hope everyone's doing well. Guess what, folks?!?! I got my dog back! My little poodle-mix that I got at the THHS, who ran away a couple of days later. Well, he'd been spotted in the area, by a particular house. So I borrowed a live trap from the THHS, and we finally caught him in it, because he was getting hungry. Took him into the humane society yesterday to get his stitches finally out from his neuter. It was late, but what could I do? Then we went to the dog wash here in TH at the Pet Food Center. I got him washed up some, so atleast he smells and looks some better now. He needs groomed. I couldn't get an appointment at Petsmart until Friday, because he has to have his rabies shot first. They do a pretty good job though.
Good morning all. Just a few minutes before I must get ready for work. I am getting to be a supervisor today, instead of dealing, so I am happy. I like the change of pace with that job.
It is going to be beautiful today and tomorrow, so get out and enjoy it. Hope everyone has a great weekend. Take care!
At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!

Good Sunday morning everyone! I too will be cheering for Danica to have a good race day. We are gonna take the pontoon boat out and do some fishing. I don't really like to fish but hubby does so I tag along to keep him company. My sister got a call from her doc that she needs to come in first thing Tuesday morning for a MRI they have seen something on her xray. I don't know what this means but if you are a praying person please keep her in your prayers. I am so worried about her, she is in such poor health. Jeannie
Jeannie where are you going fishing? Are you fishing for Crappie's? My husband and I love to fish! WHen we go to French Lick everyone asks if we are going to the "gambling boat" I tell them hell no there is other stuff to do down there than that! I'M GOING FISHIN'! Hope you catch lots of fish! I will pray for your sister and I hope she finds out there is nothing major wrong. Michelle J
